Answers lots of my car related questions. He doesn't have a staff. I think he's a one man show and he only does 2 details a day, am and pm. He's booked 5-6 week out now (5/8/2024), he did say winters, even late winter is slow, plan accordingly. (I think he also does auto body work as a side hobby, as there's always old vehicles in restoration status in one of the 2 garage bays.)

Other places would call Jonny's regular wash an "Exterior Detail" and charge twice as much. They do not do vacuum or clean windows if they are busy, and they usually are busy. However, I had our SUV detailed last there last month. I could have called a "Crime Scene Cleanup" crew or the company that cleans up New Orleans after Mardi Gras. But Jonny's group disinfected, scrubbed it clean and polished it to a diamond finish inside and out. If you have a high value vehicle or just want someone to clean your car better than you would do yourself, this is the place to go.

There is a car wash thats reasonably priced and a revamped interior now known as Alltown Fresh - with benefits. Ya Ok not that kind but a full sandwich bar with bowls and salads and all day breakfast. The layout is superb, very clean and spacious with a long counter and bar stools to sit and watch people fill up. I like where they are going with this concept not sure its going to be a destination but the sandwiches do look good and at around $10 bucks are in line and competitive with other sandwich shops. Yesterday there was a nice gal outside the front door under a canopy with a table of roast beef sandwich samples. The sample was actually decent sized not a BJs little napkin thing. Came with au jus sauce! So besides the gas, the lottery, the snacks and drinks they are definately pushing the food. Gas prices you ask? Well Mobil is never the cheapest or the highest for that matter however they are all over the place and when you need it you need it. They do have a new Fresh app that upon signing up qualifies you for 50 cents off each gallon on your first fill up. (The other benefits are ordering food ahead and free coffee or drink every 5th one.) So wait till your tank is empty and go save 9 or 10 bucks on a fill up and maybe grab a bite. Wouldn't go too far out of my way but if your local like me go for it.

My car was absolutely covered in pollen and had been nailed by a few birds. Because my car is lower to the ground and has a carbon fiber front spoiler, I cannot go to a traditional drive-through car wash. I either do the "touchless" or do it myself. Because of the severity of the job, I decided to use their self-service bay. The first thing I noticed was the pressure of the water - it was very strong! Which is good for removing bird crap, dried sap, tar, and all that brake dust. The cost is $1/min, so be ready to spend an easy $15-20 depending on how thorough you are. The air dryer was powerful, but I did have to drive to a second bay because it was broken in the first bay. It took an additional 10 minutes of drying to complete the car. Total cost was about $25.00, but my car was definitely cleaner (and dryer) than a regular touchless wash. I believe the pricing for a Platinum wash is $21, and unlimited is $35/mo (less if you buy a 12-month contract). I thought that the layout of the property made sense and that the focus was definitely on the car wash bays and free vacuums. The only other place I go to that is similar is Rojo's in Norwood which is a little closer to my house. I would rank Prestige as slightly better than Rojo's. Rojo's is a gas station with a car wash (and their car wash prices are high for what you get, in my opinion). I will definitely be back to Prestige, especially since it's on the way home from work. I'd say skip the air drying and bring your own chamois, or drive home and wipe your car down in your driveway, unless you don't mind spending the extra $10 to use the air gun. For what it's worth, my car was yellow the next morning. Gotta love pollen season :)

I submitted a request to have them look at it and if a damage claim was possible. They quickly refused saying that 1) they are not responsible for any damage not reported before you leave a location 2) that 'damage over time' cant be proven to be their fault and 3) since I reported using multiple locations that no single location can be held responsible. Cowards. They know what these systems do to to paint. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.
