I fell in love with lash lift + tint a few years ago. I have a decent amount of lashes and they're pretty dark but they are STICK STRAIGHT. Trying to curl them is like pulling teeth, which sucks because I so much prefer how I look with a curled lash. I also learned that while my lashes are dark, the tips are quite blonde so the tint allows you to see their full length. Long story long, I had to have this service. I also did a brow lamination, which I'd never done before. I brought my mom with me too who also got a lash lift + tint and a brow clean up. My mom is new to Camarillo and we found Joanna after extensive research for the best we could find. And Joanna is it!! She was incredibly meticulous and thorough. Johanna is a PERFECTIONIST and complete wizard! I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and as such, my once full brows and long, thick, black lashes have dwindled away, fallen out, and become very sparse, which aged me terribly!She managed to take the very small amount of lashes I had left and fill them out without compromising the lashes. I've been getting lash extensions for 2-3 years and no matter how amazing my lash stylists have been, the first few days, even with the most sensitive, organic, minimal ingredient adhesive, I'd often experience irritation and redness at the lash line. I don't know what she uses or how she does it, but with Johanna? I have had ZERO irritation ‍ And the brow lamination! Who knew this service even existed? Johanna did lol *Note: my brows were already micro bladed/microshaded* Even with my brows being microbladed/microshaded I still struggle to make them look full and groomed, having to fill them in with brow pencil/powder. The brow lamination managed to take even the fake tattooed hair strokes and make them look like I had fuller brows. Absolute wizardry. Also Johanna is super sweet, personable, and very honest regarding what she's able to do with what you're giving her to work with. Clients Beware: I'm sure lash extensions are meant to last more than ten hours without falling out! My experience with Joanna was definitely less than stellar. Her rates are above the normal standard, it took her almost three hours to apply and my lashes began falling out within hours. By 6am the following morning it was visibly noticeable. I contacted her immediately and requested a touch up but, have a small licensed service animal with Drs note, credentials, etc. I was told I could not re-enter with my service animal in a bag! I then requested an alternate time to be serviced or partial refund. No response. I was just told no refunds but, more importantly...she would have requested one for my potty break request, and body movement, etc. during a three hour long session.....really?!?! read more

The first time I ever came to Joanna, I was having a lash emergency and she squeezed me in late at night the day after I reached out to her. She takes her time (so if you need to be out of your appointment time just let her know ahead of time), and lashes EVERY. LAST. LASH. Honestly, I walk out of my appointment feeling like a million bucks every time. Schedule your two week fill with her while you're there--this girl hustles and stays busy. So take your appointment while you can. That said, she's extremely accommodating. Anytime I've texted her that I only have one day and one time available, by some miracle, she's made it work. She's also so good at communicating what you want and what's working and what's not. When my lashes were having some issues, she got me back in her chair right away and we tried a different glue and smaller diameter lashes and BAM! No problems since. She writes down everything we use so there's never a question of who needs what. Don't sleep on this girl--she's the best lash tech I've ever been to. read more
