When I was watching the bartender make it I noticed he used a signal whiskey instead and when I asked about he said they had changed their menu and now they use the signal whiskey. But he was able to give me another drink and then we got to compare the two. There was a different smoke taste to the macaloney braiche whiskey. Also a bit disappointed we could not sit on their upstairs patio with our dog, but instead sat at bar and made the most of it. Love the space and ambience.

It's sometimes really good and sometimes a little bit on the soggy side. They give you plenty of toppings, but perhaps slack on the cheese a tad. Nothing too bad, it is noticeable on some of the pizzas though. In terms of customer service, the guy that always answers the phone is a bit rude/impatient though the delivery guys always seem nice. Every time I've ordered they've quoted 45 minutes to an hour, and every time it came in 15-20 minutes so keep an ear out even if they say it'll be later. My only real issue with it is value for money. When buying two pizzas (which you should always do), each basic 14" pizza works out to $15 not including tax. This isn't competitive with most of the other chains in town, particularly as the chains have specials and coupons that can get you an equivalent pizza for around $12 before tax. Overall it's a decent place, just doesn't stand out.

Our server came over quickly and apologized profusely, but the damage was done. I ordered the Veal Parmesan while the lovely K had the Sun-dried Tomato Fettuccine. It came as advertised, but was not what she was looking for, certainly not the fault of the kitchen. My veal was somehow a bit chewy, and had too much breading and cheese on it. The in-house made pasta (as they all are, kudos for that) was nicely done, but the protein overshadowed the sauce. The interior is nicely decorated and there is a patio area there for the nice days. The open kitchen is a favourite of ours, but it also exposes any issues that may be going on. All in all, it was not a good experience for us, but mistakes happen and we would give them a try again, as K had a good initial experience. That's the reason we went there, and one bad evening shouldn't end it all. Nice restaurants are not plentiful in PG, so everyone deserves to drop back and punt very occasionally.
