It's a bad feeling when you can't trust your barber to do his job properly. Also, instead of using an actual hot towel, they get a towel wet with hot tap water and then wring it out. It's not pleasant. If you're going to do a job then do it right. Towel warmers are not that expensive.

He'd heard good things about Five Seasons and despite being incredibly busy, they were able to fit Matt in 30 minutes before close. Be advised - this parking lot is very tight and usually quite full. (Its a shared lot with Noodles & Co, Merry Nails, and another office space and often it's easier to park off to the side/behind Noodles.) The shop itself is clean and inviting. We don't drink, but thought it was neat that they offer free local beer on tap with your hair cut. We also noticed photography from local artists on the wall. Matt had an appointment for a hair cut and beard trim with Steve. It sounds like they were a pretty good fit for each other. But more importantly, Steve did a great job on his hair and beard. My boyfriend isn't very good at articulating what he wants done with his hair, but he was more pleased than I've ever seen him after a cut. He's still raving about the shave and already thinking about his next appointment! Great price, great service. Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

She did a great job on my partner's hair and beard, checking in throughout the cut to be sure it was headed in the direction he wanted to be going. The atmosphere is not like most barbershops. It's not terribly loud or busy, and would be a fine place to bring a kiddo or someone who is easily overstimulated. I'm sure they'd even turn down or off the music if requested. I checked in with Tay, who confirmed all of the barbers have experience working with clients of all backgrounds, and are comfortable working on natural, textured, curly, etc hair types.
