It's a bad feeling when you can't trust your barber to do his job properly. Also, instead of using an actual hot towel, they get a towel wet with hot tap water and then wring it out. It's not pleasant. If you're going to do a job then do it right. Towel warmers are not that expensive.

He'd heard good things about Five Seasons and despite being incredibly busy, they were able to fit Matt in 30 minutes before close. Be advised - this parking lot is very tight and usually quite full. (Its a shared lot with Noodles & Co, Merry Nails, and another office space and often it's easier to park off to the side/behind Noodles.) The shop itself is clean and inviting. We don't drink, but thought it was neat that they offer free local beer on tap with your hair cut. We also noticed photography from local artists on the wall. Matt had an appointment for a hair cut and beard trim with Steve. It sounds like they were a pretty good fit for each other. But more importantly, Steve did a great job on his hair and beard. My boyfriend isn't very good at articulating what he wants done with his hair, but he was more pleased than I've ever seen him after a cut. He's still raving about the shave and already thinking about his next appointment! Great price, great service. Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Not bad...I had to wait longer than I normally have to at Great Clips but the waiting room was comfortable enough and ESPN sports was playing on the huge flat screen TV so there was something to divert my attention. For some reason though the sound was not all that great in the waiting area and when I got into the barber chair I had to take off my glasses so I couldn't see the little TVs they have in the cutting area. My stylist was friendly, if not a little too bubbly, but she did a great job with my hair. The place was clean and well maintained (I noticed the stylists vacuumed their areas after every cut.) Since it was my first time at Sport Clips I was upgraded to "MVP" status which included a hair shampoo and massage, a hot towel moisturizing for my face, and a massage on the back with one of those electronic massager thingys. I was loaded up with coupons for my next couple of visits and was also told that I had up to 30 days to come back for a free neck trim; something I will seriously consider taking them up on. Some how I even got suckered into buying some 'product' - something I never do for which of course gave something for my wife to rib me about. I'm not sure I'll become a regular, as it was more expensive than my usual cut at Great Clips and since I don't have a lot of hair I generally feel as if I don't need to pay a lot for a cut. Regardless, I had a good experience and will go back a time or two in the future.
