History
Established in 2015.
Friendly Village Firearms (FVF) is the result of Brian being concerned about the frequency of home invasion, burglaries and assault in Maine and elsewhere, especially involving defenseless, particularly women, children and the elderly. Brian decided that he could put his 20+ years of concealed carry and his military competition shooting and instructor experience to good use educating others. He constructed the FVF web site in early 2015 and received his Federal Firearms License (FFL) in April that year. Brian is a long time member of the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA). He became a Certified USCCA Instructor receiving his certification training in October, 2015. He is one of only two USCCA Certified Instructors in Maine. Brian believes that, even though Maine no longer requires a permit to conceal carry, people should still be educated to responsibly carry and safeguard a firearm, thereby better protecting themselves and their loved ones.
