This store will no longer be receiving any of my business…read more Barely an hour ago, as I waited in the line to checkout, the sound of a lung being hacked out rang in my ears. I turned around to see a woman and her son whom I'll call "Linus" because of the open sores covering both of their faces. I could SEE said dripping sores because neither was wearing a mask -- not even under their chins to pretend to give half a $#!% -- and both were close enough behind me that in 13 states we'd be common-law married. "I *caaaaaaan't* wear a mask," whined Mr. Snowflake, "it's tooooooo hard to breeeeeeathe, ha ha! What do *you* think, you're going to get covid?" I asked him to at least stand a respectful distance back, and he laughs "Well, do you have a ruler?" No, said I, but the convenient "Stand here" stickers on the floor were a convenient guide. The staff's Sgt. Schultzian indifference to the entire ordeal was the last straw. Presumably the store values these folks' business more than mine because they have to come in weekly for new flea and tick collars - for themselves. I, on the other hand, shall find a competitor who values my life as much as my business.
