She said that EFT Tapping had helped her a lot, and that it might be more accessible, since once you learn the technique you can do it on your own without a therapist. In a few sessions, Kirsten helped me to completely overcome issues that I'm sure would have taken me many years to overcome in traditional talk therapy. Kirsten is a gifted healer with a compassionate heart and open mind. She listens carefully and is able to craft uniquely perfect individual tapping sessions. I have not only found EFT Tapping to be helpful recently, but I'm sure that it will be a tool that I can carry forward in the future. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have found Kirsten.

Now she teaches Kundalini Yoga and that allows me to continue on my path of self-love. When I first started working with her ADD was really holding me back - I was taking medication for it. The client ahead of me began sobbing so loud that other therapists came out to see what was the matter. That client ended up taking up my entire time slot. When Megan finally emerged, she apologized with "that client just lost her child to H1N1. I will make up the time for you next week. Come back and I'll give you ten minutes extra." I was shocked! I had just spent a lot of time finding a therapist and decided to give her another chance. At our following appointment, I was 5 minutes late. I said "I hope that didn't count toward my extra 10 minutes." Megan responded with "that WAS your 10 minutes!" I had serious problems sticking up for myself back then and felt I could not advocate for myself. At our following appointment, she was over AN HOUR late! I stopped seeing her soon after. After our last appointment, she called me and said I had a $500 deductible. When I called my insurance about this, they said I in fact did not owe her any money. Based on the other reviews, it seems like nothing has changed. I wish I had left after that first visit. This woman fully intends to rip you off.

    I have not seen other therapists to compare, but I found Judith to be warm, caring, and relatable…read more I went to her for general stress associated with a heavy workload that was driving poor sleep and self-care habits. She did share a bit about her personal life as others have noted, but usually only resources that I might find helpful. To me it was comforting, whereas the other reviewer found it distracting. Judith helped me develop tools for long-term self-management of heavy workloads and stressful situations without compromising self-care. We had many sessions together and I have not felt the need to seek additional counseling. From my experience and the wisdom of family and friends who have sought counseling, it seems that finding a therapist you like is a deeply personal process. Also, it's dependent on what you need and the therapist's area of expertise. So a therapist that works well for one person may not work well at all for another. I recommend that if you are considering Judith's services that you attend a session and decide for yourself whether she is a good fit.

She interupted me when I tried so talk and was not an active listener. She did not respond to what I tried to tell her. I would not recommend this therapist. I am surprised she even has a license to counsel. I felt much worse when I left her office. She didn't know a thing about me and why I came in but I certainly learned a whole lot about her. Maybe her approach is good for some who really don't want to work on their issues and have a "friend". This therapis put a negative light on the profession. To say the least, I did not go back to her. I felt traumatized from the experience as I did not get what I needed from a therapist which is help, listening to me, being supportive.

I had worked with Sabrina in the past and after years of struggling and as I have gotten older, I knew I had to reach out to her. I have always been active and I workout every day so that was not an issue for me. But I was still slowly and steadily gaining weight. I have tried every meal plan and/or diet you can think of spending hundreds of dollars a week on food and hours in the kitchen meal prepping, and nothing worked long term. I reached out to Sabrina in September and started working with her a week or so after my initial call. She made a few tweaks to my diet and my exercise routine, and the weight began to come off. We worked together until the middle of January. During our time working together I lost 20lbs. OVER. THE. HOLIDAYS. I am a social person, and food is always a part of that, so the holidays are especially challenging. If I can lose 20lbs over the holidays, anyone can. Since finishing my last session with Sabrina I have continued to lose weight. It doesn't come off as fast because I am not super focused on it, but that is what I love. It has felt easy to just keep doing what I am doing. The changes she made to my diet fit easily into my lifestyle. I finally feel like I am not on a diet, I have just changed the way I eat, and I am spending less money on food and spending less time on meal prepping than I was before working with her. I don't get on the scale a lot these days as I am more focused on feeling good than what the scale says, but every time I do, I am down a few more pounds.

Yet, despite all this, I saw very little improvement. Recently, I realized that I had lost several pounds, and it became clear that a major part of the problem was that I simply wasn't eating enough. I'd been vegetarian for most of my life, and even after adding meat, I struggled because of my love for animals. On top of that, my demanding job often had me so focused that I would forget to eat entirely. I felt untethered to my life--weak, off-balance, and sometimes even fearful of driving or going out. I knew I needed someone to tell me exactly what to eat and how much, someone I could work with personally. I was so overwhelmed by conflicting information online--one source said this diet was essential, another said it was dangerous--that I thought all I needed was a clear plan. What I didn't realize was that I needed someone to help me identify why I was so paralyzed around food and how to address it. When I found Sabrina, I was drawn not only to her nutrition expertise but also her training as a Life Coach. After our first meeting, I knew I was in the right hands. The 14 weeks I spent with Sabrina were the best investment I've ever made in my health. Our sessions went far beyond food--she helped me uncover why I was avoiding eating, why I couldn't gain weight or strength despite eating very healthy, and how to break those patterns. She took the time to learn what I actually like to eat, then provided a personalized meal library to guide me with meals and snacks, which made staying on track so much easier. Her Life Coach approach was invaluable! She is non-judgmental, supportive, and gently kept me on track, adjusting strategies when needed. All of my calls with her were grounding and soothing, especially amid my chaotic workdays. Thanks to Sabrina, I now understand the habits that were stealing my health, and I'm actively reversing them. I've started putting weight back on, feel stronger and more confident in my daily life, and no longer have anxiety around food.
