Frobaby Productions is truly phenomenal! They DJ'd for us at both our Sangeet and our Wedding/Reception, and we couldn't be happier with their work. For the Sangeet, Nate and his crew arrived right on time and handled the entire setup independently. Since the event was at an Airbnb, I initially worried it might be difficult for them to work with the space, but Nate was incredibly adaptive and flexible and he made everything come together seamlessly. He also knew exactly which Bollywood and Bhangra songs to play, and my Indian family had an absolute blast. We genuinely appreciated his willingness to learn about our culture and music. My mom considers Nate as the MVP and still talks about him to this day! I really appreciated his willingness to meet her in advance on Zoom so she could explain what her vision for music was for our Sangeet. For the Wedding/Reception, Nate had the dance floor packed all night. He played the perfect mix of hip-hop, old-school, classics, and rock so there was something for everyone. We also loved using Vibo; it made it super easy for my husband and me to select the songs we wanted and to clearly mark the ones we definitely didn't want. But if I had to choose, I think my favorite thing about Frobaby Productions is how in-tune they are with everything happening around them. Our wedding was on 5/2/25 and we had Frobaby for our DJ/MC/ceremony services and we are 1000% happy with our decision. Nate was very fast to respond to our emails and introduced us to DJ Peter who would be working with us on our special day. The process from booking to the day-of was seamless. To us, the app that Frobaby uses is what set them apart from other vendors, as it was so convenient to add songs that we wanted, didn't want, and add little notes. Nate and his team are absolutely incredible, Nate reached out to us multiple times about booking and was so incredibly friendly. Our wedding planner highly recommended Nate and just from speaking with him, we knew immediately he was the person we wanted for our wedding. DJ Nate was AMAZING at our wedding! Due to COVID-19 and the times we live in now, we weren't able to have the "traditional" wedding with a sit-down dinner and guests crowded on a dance floor. However, it was still 100% necessary to have someone like DJ Nate at Frobaby Productions to assist us with music/sound at our Zoom wedding ceremony & drive-through reception! For our Zoom wedding, he cued all the music at the perfect time and somehow hooked up the microphone to go directly into our Zoom so everyone online could hear crystal clear without any difficulties or problems! All our guests were shocked at how well they could hear and see us. Huge thank you to Nate! Also, for our drive-through reception, him and his assistant were still able to maintain a distance on the side but still provide great tunes as guests pulled up with some speakers located a little further away so even if guests were waiting in the car line, they could hear the music perfectly! He also provided some nice lights to set the romantic mood throughout the drive-through. We are so grateful to DJ Nate and all that he did for us to make this day as perfect as possible! 10/10 would recommend! Where to start with DJ Nate; well we're one of the couples who had to cancel our wedding in 2020 due to regulations and Nate was more than understanding about that, assuring us we can postpone and plan everything we already talked about for the wedding for another time. We moved it to 2021 and he honored everything we agreed to. We even changed our original planned wedding date to a day that he would be able to be our DJ and it was totally worth it. He was very easy to contact and always had time for a phone call to explain various upgrades he offers and pricing. After talking to at least 8 other DJ's and DJ companies on Oahu, I can assure you he is the only one that is so responsive and helpful in the pre-booking process and was so genuinely excited about everything I told him about our wedding. He even came out to the venue to take a look at how and where he'd set up to ensure he had enough space, power, and even gave ideas on how to make it look even better. Nate told us he uses an app with his customers that allows them to select songs for each part of the wedding (guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, first dance, reception, etc.). Once again, no other DJ I talked to mentioned this or even knew about this app. So throughout the summer we gradually selected songs, which Nate could then see and know what to play on the big day. All of his upgrades are well worth it; we got tons of uplights (which change/sync to the music, monogram (which we customized), smoke machine, white bubbles (the coolest thing that no DJ's on the island have, they're filled with smoke so when they pop smoke comes out of them), and a CO2 cannon.
