Having paid the caterer over $6,000 to feed 500 guests and not show up until 9 pm (when dinner was supposed to be served at 6 pm) was just a nightmare. Because all the phone numbers I got via email just went straight to voicemail, David worked his magic and was able to get a phone number from his wife Lupe to get a hold of the caterer's owner, who supposedly "accidentally deleted my order". He did an amazing job continuing the party as it should while also keeping my guests informed and me calm. Prior to the party, I was in close contact with both David and Lupe. Communication was just superb. David listened and carried out my requests for the party, like our song choices. And, Lupe did an excellent job coming up with the timeline. Both would bring up concerns and suggestions/ideas that I wouldn't have thought of - just so everything going on during the party would run smoothly. In terms of price, they are more than willing to work around your budget. I would not hesitate for a second to work with them again! I really cannot thank David and Lupe, their son and staff enough for making my baby's party a success despite this huge mishap.

This gave us time to apply for our wedding license at the Department of Health DOH (about $13) downtown. Coco gave us guidance on the best times to go to the DOH to avoid long lines as we talked story on his porch. On our wedding day, everything was done for us and we just had to show up. We were married on Makapu'u. Coco played Over the Rainbow and the Hawaiian Wedding Song for us as he sang with his Ukulele. Our photographer, Dave was exceptional. We loved the way Coco officiated our wedding and our vows. His humor and his many Hawaiian blessings made it a beautiful wedding morning to remember. This made life so much easier for us. Because of renovations at our wedding venue, we weren't able to stay there and had to stay across the street at a sister hotel. Sarah ensured that we weren't inconvenienced by having her assistants help move our things from room to room, and made sure nothing got lost. On the day of the wedding, Sarah had 2 assistants to ensure the day ran smoothly. One assistant was very sweet and followed me around to ensure I had everything I needed and helped with my dress for photos. The other assistant so kindly ran around from hotel to hotel when I forgot my garter and other things. Sarah herself made sure everything was perfect, including music, cake florals, name plates, guest sign-in table, and even helped set up the electric keyboard I requested so I could play a song just before my processional.
