On a Saturday night, the attention and care in the ER was good. I was seen and admitted by midnight. Dr. J. Vallier was great. He was attentive, caring, and very professional. While hospitalized, nurses were great overall. They really took care of all my needs. The process when being discharged went smoothly. Nurse Jennifer was thorough in the overall process and in answering all my questions. The pharmacy staff was fantastic. They took the time to review my order and explain it in detail. The lady assisting me was friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a good experience during my stay at the hospital. Decisions made during my stay by the doctors were ethical, without rushing or jumping to conclusions, which I really appreciate. The facilities are in excellent condition and they are clean. The staff was very professional while also compassionate. I would recommend this hospital. I'm grateful for having been under the care of bright stars at Froedtert Meno Falls Hospital. After being discharged: The colonoscopy department was great the day of my procedure. But I got mixed up information for the prep. Different nurses called with different instructions based on my case. At a time in which that medical step was extremely important, I found myself frustrated with the matter. Came here for an issue with a family member. I remember when this used to be Community Memorial Hospital. It appears that they have added on other health center (i.e. the heart and vascular wing). They have a visitor check in center, so everyone is screened before going up to the patient areas. I think that is a good idea. There is a pharmacy, gift shop, and lounge area on the first floor. There is a cafeteria on the lower level. It was easy to find the rooms. There are some nice amenities in the lounge area, food, games, and even a phone charging station. Lots of attentive nursing staff throughout the area. Plenty of specialists, ranging from food service, cleaning staff, and imaging technicians. Everyone has a specialty. The nursing staff were very professional. In addition everyone that we came in contact with expressed care and empathy. They were doing their best to give everyone the right amount of attention. The patients are giving a food menu to order meals from. There's a decent selection, for all 3 different meals. You can get breakfast all day long. They deliver the food is a reasonable amount of time, and it's still warm. It took a very long while to see any of the doctors and finally get released. read more

If you have to have surgery, this is a good place to do it. I had an orthopedic day surgery scheduled for first thing in the morning. This is never fun, but they had a nice open waiting room. The pre- and post- operative rooms are tiny, but clean and private. Every staff member was attentive and kind and helpful. I particularly wanted to shout out Christina (Cash) and Jennifer N, who were amazing. They helped decrease my anxiety greatly. The timing was on point and I was in and out on schedule. I had two procedures at this facility because their schedule was more open than other facilities,and the first one was urgent. Now we know why they are not as busy. The first was insertion of a nephrostomy tube. The procedure itself went well, but after that, they fell short. One recovery nurse was outstanding, but she was even stonewalled trying to set up aftercare. The other nurses just replied "we don't do that" ... which became a recurring phrase in our experiences with them. The only instructions we were given was "change the bandages." After we went home there was ZERO follow-up. Not even the usual "how are things going"phone call. After 2 weeks I called the facility to see if anyone was going to check the site, seeing as we are not medical people, and I couldnt even see it, as it is on my back. The response? "We don't do that. Once the device leaves our facility, it is the ordering physician's responsibility." Of course the ordering physician said the opposite, but at least they agreed to take a look and make sure it looked ok. Since mo one ever followed up except when I would call to see if we could get supplies or when I had an issue, the prescribed three-month exchange was never scheduled. At an unrelated visit, one PA discovered that it needed to be exchanged. Guess who had availability, again, in a shorter time? Yep. Men. Falls. Back we go. They did this procedure withOUT any sort of sedation... unbelievable. They are pulling an imbedded tube out of a major organ, shocing a new one in there, and suturing it to the skin, and all they used was lidocaine at the surface. I was in pain. The doc, who did not usually work at this location, kept asking the nurses to give me something for the pain. Their response? You guessed it, "we don't do that here." WOW... I felt like a medical experiment. They fi ally jammed some meds into my shoulder while sayimg "ok, but it really doesnt work when you administer it this way, " which it didn't. Horrific. We learned later, after I refused to go back to that facility for the removal of the tube, that my experience there prompted "discussions" about their policy of doing those procedures with no option of sedation. Well, good ... but I will NEVER GO BACK TO MENOMONEE FALLS Froedtert for anything like that again. I am only giving two stars, not 0, because of the ONE recovery nurse who advocated for me as best she could on both visits. She was awesome and deserves to work at a better facility, but I thank God she was there for me. read more

Horrible scenario in the Infusion clinic with Jennifer E. who was totally unskilled and cruel. The pain I experienced was excrutiating as she jabbed at my hand three times to insert a catheter for IV infusion. Each time she jabbed i screamed loudly but she never stopped and nobody ever came to my rescue. Finally she inserted at elbow area after causing all this pain and stress..Her demeanor was cold and uncaring..Left message with Angela, manager, who never returned call..Next time i will go to Main hospital. read more

Do not come to this hospital! It used to be that getting pain under control was a priority. Not at this hospital. You are ignored and many other excuses are given for your pain, such as "it's not really pain." Doctors yell at nurses when called at night or on the weekend when they are on call or are supposed to be at the hospital. They don't come in to check on you if a concerned nurse calls them. Lots of other problems I won't mention here. read more

My first visit to the ER for back and leg pain after a fall was on Wednesday. X-rays were taken and no fractures were found. I was given pain medication and sent home. Two days later I could not walk the pain was so severe, so a 911 call was made and I was transported back to the hospital. They did admit me for pain management but didn't look for the cause despite us asking that an MRI be done or an injection of some sort be given, especially in the knee since I had injections in the past that were helpful. Finally, on the fifth day they did an MRI and then discharged me. They did provide us with the x-rays and medical records. The next day, with those records in hand, we went to another clinic (not associated with Froedtert). They explained that I had pinched nerves and damage to the bones caused by arthritis in my back and knee. A knee injection was given during the visit which helped tremendously and I am also scheduled for an injection in my back. It seemed like I saw a different doctor on each shift and each had a different opinion I was there four nights and the care was not that good. I was only given a warm washcloth to "freshen up" and I don't recall the sheets on my bed being changed during my stay. Additionally, one night at about 4:30 am I awoke in severe pain and put my call light on. For more than ten minutes there was no response so I finally managed to set off the bed alarm to get their attention. The staff, for the most part, were good but one nurse in particular was cold and rude and showed little compassion. I will not willingly go to this ER or hospital again. read more

Been there from 845pm till 200 am... Still they have done nothing. Well, they did an ex ray. And after talking to a doctor( I'm told the only 1 on duty) She didn't listen to me when explaining what I wanted and had them bring in the wrong 1(I had had 4hrs ago at urgent Care and didn't work) then 1 of the "nurses", (all of them were not very nice, I never encounter this before but have heard horror story, which now I realize are truth's), said I refuss Treatment. No I didn't. you brought me the wrong 1! Then proceeds to say I have To wait longer or leave, after Ive been there 7 hour already. Still no contact, finally I took off the finger tip/ bp cuff to ask for assistance. When they finally got in the right item, which they were not happy about , they still did not hook me back up to the vital signs. They do not come back in to take off the new equipment when finished . at this time with that was going on with their lack of caring led me into a panic attack which led me into not being able to breathe. And they said the nurse would be right there. When, I'm standing in the hall literally thinking I'm going to die. Then the same, "nurse "Proceeds to yell at me again, I don't know what floor she should be on but definitely not ER. Then probably after 9 or so hours, (lost count by now) they want to kick me out because it's shift change, I leave and I just can't , I had to come right back in and get readmitted again. More money. I've had good experiences at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital from a health care point of view. Any complaints I have would be minimal and not worth noting in a review. However - there are other things I CAN complain about. First off, the mattresses in the rooms are terrible. I was here for a number of nights very recently and the mattress in my first room had a DITCH running lengthwise right down the middle of it. You can't really balance yourself on either side. As a result, you're forced into the middle, which has the least amount of cushioning. The mattress in the other room, while better than the first, was still subpar. You have to expect that patient mattresses must be replaced frequently. HOW DOES A PATIENT HEAL WHEN THEY CAN'T SLEEP? Maybe the executives are looking for ways to squeeze dollars into their bonuses? I'm not sure - but I hope not. The other thing I can complain about (non-health care) is room cleaning. For my first three nights/four days in the hospital, my room was never cleaned in any way - no floor sweeping, no waste baskets emptied. The only time I saw a waste basket emptied - the one near where the nurses worked on the computer - was when a nurse took care of it. Now, maybe they were short-staffed, but transparency with patients is important. I would take clean paper towels, lay them over the garbage in the basket in the bathroom, and push down to make more room. I don't mind doing it - but just let me know. With regard to food: Pretty darned excellent, esp. for a hospital, with great choices for various dietary restrictions. With regard to staff: For the most part, everyone went out of their way to provide excellent patient care. There were a couple exceptions, and only one that I'd say could have compromised patient safety (and life expectancy) had the condition been something more serious. As it is, I can say that the actions of the person on staff came down to ignorance and a general lack of care for their fellow human beings. I don't think this was intentional, but instead a case of their brain saying, "I don't care to look below the surface of these symptoms." I will definitely come back if I need to, but I might bring my own mattress. read more

Father had CT scans done here . Fast and orderly. Easy to navigate the hospital. Pharmacy is far better than others I been to. They have 3 designated spots right in front of the building for pharmacy parking which was very convenient. My brother went in for passing out, after labs were done his Hgb was extremely low , a surgeon that was on his way home came back and stitched up multiple ulcers in his esophagus. Made a full recovery shortly. Appreciate the staff , it was relieving to see them treating my family so well. read more

I had an appointment at the Women's Center and I went through the wrong door at the Cancer Care clinic. Twio old bitties receptionists were very rude to me. The saving grace was Elliot one of the hospital volunteers who escorted my husband and I to the Womens Center. I filed a complaint to the hospital's Patient Relations Department! Returned for surgery with Dr. Timm. The entire staff from check-in, to the anesthesiologist, surgeon, RN's and even the students who observed were incredibly helpful and kind. After waking up abruptly from the anesthesia and had a panic attack, one of the students (who was newer) was right by my side to make sure I was okay. I could tell he was worried but immediately jumped to my side to accommodate me and make sure I felt supported. He even returned later once I was moved to my room to make sure I was okay. The only thing I was disappointed with post-procedure was after explaining I needed something better for pain management, I was not provided adequate medication (in room, or for at home). I understand they're cracking down on this kind of thing, but as I lay here at home crying and throwing up from the level of pain, I wonder if another facility would have been more accommodating. Unfortunately, I feel this has more to do with the opioid crisis and liability, but it has created a troubling recovery that's bound to be harder than it should have to be. I feel I was in safe hands and trust the procedure was conducted professionally, as the staff themselves were personable and professional. read more

Daughter was seen in ER in February was a horrible experience from beginning to end. When we were finally taken back to a room it was trashed. There was overflowing trash in the garbage cans, trash on the floor and trash in the sink. Nurses were inexperienced and unprofessional made jokes about the serious procedure my daughter was having. There was lack of supplies available in the room. I had to interrupt nurses multiple times just to get things my daughter needed to feel comfortable. I also had to help her to the bathroom myself as the nurse wouldn't do it. Worst experience in a medical setting ever. Avoid going here if you can! read more

My 83 year-old mother-in-law was released from the hospital today. When she was admitted, we brought all of her prescriptions with her. When they sent her home today, they packed her things and kept all of her prescriptions. She's about to go to bed and has none of her nighttime medicine. We called them and they told us we could come sometime tomorrow to pick them up. She is going to go tonight and tomorrow morning without any of her meds. She has a heart condition and diabetes. We can't pick them up tonight, because visiting hours are over. She is now in her room crying. This is absolutely unacceptable. Last month, my neighbor was at the same hospital for a broken hip. We sent her flowers, expensive flowers. She was transferred to rehab the next day. They kept the flowers and the vase but packed the card that came along with the flowers. They also kept her phone charger. read more

A story for the Yelp chronicles and a subsequent review of Froedtert Community Memorial: While in San Fran in July, my uncle had a massive heart attack. My aunt rushed him to the hospital, and en route, he went into cardiac arrest. What that means is that he was dead for about two minutes, up until the great folks at Froedtert pulled him out of their car and started CPR. They got him going again after about 20 minutes. Incredible in its own right, right? After that, however, my uncle was put on life support and in a medically-induced coma. Chances of survival after this kind of event are generally slim to none (3-5%) but the family held out hope and miraculously, David came to and remembered who he was, knew where he was, and was able to function the Monday after Tuesday's heart attack. Doctors and nurses were beyond flabbergasted as his prognosis had remained quite grim; his "coming to" was quite the news around the hospital and with the family. (The folks at Community Memorial now call him the miracle man; I tell him not to let it go to his head.) Fast forward a few weeks now: Uncle David has progressed in incredible ways and has only a few minor issues to work on, and is due to be released in hopefully less than a week's time. It's all just so mind-blowing, really... after seeing him on life support and hearing of how slim his chances of survival were, to now hanging out with him and watching him give the nurses and caretakers (well-intentioned) grief. It's truly amazing. So that's the story, now to Froedtert and my review: I know the medical industrial complex is a real thing, designed to make money off of patients who are also forced consumers of care. Anyone who doesn't think that is fooling themselves. That said, all of the nurses and doctors I've encountered at Community Memorial have been kind, knowledgeable, and transparent about everything, from when David was in a very precarious and uncertain place up until now, wherein things are so so much better for him. That's a big deal. Not everyone can care in a more genuine way or have the kind of patience that these folks seem to have. While we oftentimes think of doctors and nurses as caretakers, they certainly don't have to be. They don't have to be warm, empathetic, patient or honest, but the staff at Community Memorial has been and continues to be for our family during a very rough (and now very hopeful) time. The facility itself feels a little dated, but who cares? David's alive due to their expedient and efficient efforts the day of his heart attack and now continued care. Our family appreciates those at Community Memorial taking care of him so much; I hope these people know just how much of a difference they make in others' lives (as I can't imagine working in healthcare is a terribly easy job pursuit). Not a great thing to be able to say, but I spent about 5 days at CMH recently for my Mom Sue. She was brought in due to cardiac arrest/possible neurological issues and the paramedics were able to revive her, but she was out for almost 30 minutes. Long story short, she did not regain brain activity and unfortunately passed away after 5 days in ICU. This was a long and stressful time and my family spent lots of hours at the hospital (it started to feel like a second home). The situation was heartbreaking for all of us but the doctors and nurses involved really seemed to care and answered our questions to the best of their ability. Considering the size of our family and all of the visitors she had, they were very understanding and compassionate. I can't recall everyone's names but Gina and Amy? were her nurses and were great. There was also a nurse named Nancy (not one of our nurses) who overheard a conversation my sister and I were having and offered her support which was really sweet at such a difficult time. I can't forget Randee the chaplain which was also so sweet and checked in on us throughout our time there. They have a cafeteria in the lower level which had many options but varied hours. I'll also miss the fish tank in the ICU waiting area, I know that's silly but it's something I stared at a lot during our time there. After a certain time (I think 8 pm) the main entrance doors lock so you have to enter through the ER if you leave. From what I could tell, the ICU has been recently renovated and it looks nice as well. Obviously the hospital has security in place for certain things, which includes the ICU rooms. During our time there the door locks were broken several times which meant we had to wait for someone to let us in to see our Mom rather than being electronically let in. That was certainly a pain and I hope that is all fixed now. So even though I am sad about why I spent so much time there, I really do appreciate the care my Mom received and how they treated my family and I. If you have a choice of where to go I would highly recommend this hospital. read more

My daughter has sickle cell disease and when she first arrived at like Midnight the staff was amazing. In the morning my daughter was still in the Emergency Room waiting on a room. The staff put her in the hallway next to the nurses station on a bed in the hallway . My daughter was in severe pain still from her sickle cell . She was screaming and crying and the nurse ask her what is wrong and she said that the staff kept walking past her and not checking in her and even called security on her . I came to see for myself what kind of care they was giving my daughter . I at first cut them a break because the waiting room was crowded. We sat their for another 4 hours and I ask one of the nurses who the charge nurse . The charged nurse was very rude when I ask her why is my child still in the hallway and you guys have empty room in the emergency department to put her back end until she get a room upstairs. How are you getting mad at me asking you questions and than she proceeded to call security on me.All patients no matter who they are deserves quality care and privacy and the hallway is violating HIPPA laws if you ask me . read more

I brought my son who is slightly autistic to the Community Memorial Hospital Emergency Department due to a medication issue and several nurses made disparaging and threatening statements about him. This was very disturbing and a violation of his rights as someone with a mental illness. During our visit, it was apparent that the Emergency Room staff had either little or no training or little or no empathy for people with special needs or just plain didn't care who they spoke to or what they said. Although I know that sometimes emergency medical situations dictate that you go to the nearest hospital, if you have a special needs child, I recommend that you take them elsewhere. read more

I went to your emergency room yesterday for a high blood pressure. The reason I went here and not to urgent care is because I am a High risk pregnancy and urgent care would have sent me over anyways. I was treated as if why are you here? And told that there were more severe people in the er so they sent me up to the birth center. We arrived and after 15mins of sitting in the room I got instructions to dress in a gown and I told the nurse my concerns. She was rude and snotty and once again acted like why are you here. I made a comment like busy huh, she said no. They put me on the monitor and checked my bp with a machine. Then the nurse check it 3 times in a row with a manual one and as most people know, you have to wait a few minutes or switch arms but they obviously wanted me out of there. I've never felt so unwanted by a hospital staff in my life. The hospital staff is suppose to be caring and kind no matter how big or small the patients problem is. Need less to say I will drive the extra miles to go to a different hospital, one that will treat my concerns according. read more

Since the only way you can truly judge a Hospital is by personal treatment, I'll share my story, and why I think the staff here is a good one. After a long night of drinking, I rolled out of bed to relieve myself of some of the beer I had consumed. Unfortunately, I forgot that I had left a glass of water on the floor, and I promptly crushed it with my right foot, leaving many shards of glass in my foot. My loving girlfriend took me to the hospital at about 4 a.m. and the people on staff, though my memory did not record any of their faces or names, took the best care of me...despite my poor decision making. They were extremely friendly, professional to the utmost, and respectful of pain threshold. Many many stitches (internal and external) and a few weeks of crutches had me back to normal, albeit with a very cool scar. Thanks, CMH. read more

Don't go here if you have a medical emergency and Froedtert is an out-of-network hospital when it comes to your insurance. As soon as they found out that they were out-of-network they did no more tests, but simply monitored me until I could get transported to an in-network hospital. They still managed to bill almost $3,500. My insurance did cover this as if it was in-network, and payed Froedtert close to half of that amount. Now, Froedtert has the gall to bill me for the rest. As if someone in a medical emergency situation should have the wherewithal to ask to be transported to an in-network hospital further away. Ludicrous! I have now disputed this billing with both my insurance and Froedtert billing, Froedtert won't even consider negotiating with either my insurance or myself. This is simply WRONG. I say, shame on them! read more

Every doctor, specialist, nurse, CNA, PT, OT, technician - all staff - treated our mom with respect and dignity. Their professionalism, compassion, care, and patience were beyond compare. Weekend care was not very good. The communication in the ER from the CNA's, Nurses, PA's, then to the doctor along the chain, was poor. Wait times were short, but once treated, not much actual care took place. This trip was a waste of time and money. We'll try another hospital next time. read more

This is the worst hospital I've ever been to! No nurse in triage. Had my daughter waiting for an hour when she couldn't breathe, nobody even checked her out quickly to make sure she was ok. Also registration completion takes over an hour & 1/2 when you're waiting to be discharged. Everything is just slow motion, someone could have something very serious happen to them while they're waiting for a triage nurse. We would never return to this hospital or recommend it to anyone else. Also we were there about a month ago for myself to be seen & while we were in our hospital room some nurses were joking around about a patient that died over the weekend. read more

Thanks to the ICU team for prolonging my mother's life. She suffers from a severe case of COPD. With your care and technology she was able to be moved not only to a regular room but to a rehab facility when we thought she wasn't going to make it. They did not manage my pain after surgery. I got a total of 2 15 minute snoozes the whole night! My pain management doctor has to manage my pain meds so I will be going home with something that is not going to help because the doctor was not honest with pain management doc. No pain control, no sleep. No sleep no healing. I am screwed!!! read more

I had to stay in the hospital one night. I'm a type 1 diabetic. When I came into the hospital, I gave they my sliding scale of insulin usage. The usage and type of insulin that I take is dependent upon the blood test by using a finger pin prick. I utilizes this at home with a high degree of success in keeping my blood sugars at a reasonable level not too low or too high. My endocrinologist had approved this sliding scale chart. I take two types of insulin dependent upon the blood test and when I take it. I take it in the morning b/4 breakfast, b/4 evening meal and b/4 I go to bed. B/4 I was going to bed the nurse was going to give me a shot of insulin. I ask how much and what kind. They were going to give me the wrong kind based upon the doctor on duty that night. I objected and ask for the correct kind. They ended up giving me a large quantity of a fast acting insulin without specifying that it was fast acting insulin. I had extremely severe reaction. So severe that if it wouldn't have been noticed I would have died. I got a detail reports of my stay and they lied on the report. Each individual used CYA. I rated a 1 If I could have rated a negative 3 I would have read more

I suffer from Crohn's disease and have had issues with abdominal pain. In the past, this hospital was top notch and provided exemplary care. However, I have seen a decline in care since the merger with Froedtert & The Medical College. The ER has been hit or miss and on one occasion, upon my arrival from our local EMS Paramedic, I was put into a wheelchair and rolled into the public waiting room with a bag to vomit into. The EMS crew was appalled and had asked to take me to another ER, unfortunately this was against protocol. Some of the ER doctors were excellent, others not. It's a shame this local hospital has declined on service. I took the advice of one of my EMS personnel and have changed physicians who work out of another hospital. read more

Before we knew it was my gallbladder and gall stones, I went to this hospital on 3 different occasions for seriously mad chest pains. (I felt like I was being stepped on by an elephant.) Each time the doctor told me I had costochondritis (an inflamation in the ribs). Each time I was sent home, without xrays or other tests. In addition, on the 2nd visit, I ended up with a "biker" doctor who wore black cowboy boots. He actually said "get 'er done" to me. Seriously? You're a professional? Finally, I gave up hope with Community Memorial Hospital (and my regular doctor at Medical Associates) and went to Columbia St. Mary's. My new doctor at Columbia St. Mary's (Mequon) ran extensive tests and found my problem was my gallbladder and excessive gall stones. After two surgeries, the gallbladder and stones are out thanks to Columbia St. Marys Hospital (Mequon) - absolutely NO thanks to Community Memorial. If you can (and I know it is hard when you are in extreme pain) try to go somewhere else. read more

I have been at this emergency room at least three times in the last couple years due to my complications from Asthma .I have always been treated promptly and had the most considerate doctors and nurses.My regular doctor is affiliated with different hospitals but I always end up going here for quality care .Tonight was exceptional as the doctors and nurses took the time to be thorough and relieve my misery as fast as possible .Thank you. read more

As a resident of the falls, I have always gone to CMH. I have had several nieces and nephews born here, my grandmother was called to eternal life here. So naturally when my boyfriend got a piece of metal in his eye, I pushed to take him to the ER at none other than CMH! We arrived, stated to the guy behind the glass what we were there for, gave him some info: name dob..the usual..he then asked if he still lived in Waukesha, which as far as my boyfriend was concerned he did. So, guy behind the glass prints off a wrist band and off we go to the intake room. His vitals are all taken and questions asked pertaining as to his eye..we were then put back out in the lobby to wait for the next available room. He was called and I followed him into a room with a sliding glass door. The nurse asked a few questions and left with 'the doctor will be in shortly'. The doctor came in, examined his eye, and left for drops and supplies. Upon her arrival back to the room she set everything she was going to be using on a 'SOILED LINEN' bin. She opened the long sticked Q-tip and applied the numbing drops to it. She put a drop right in his eye and waited a minute until she tried with the Q-tip to get the chunk of metal out. Tried, tried, it wasn't budging. (Each time I could see fibers getting caught on the piece of metal) She proceeded to put the Q-tip down onto the 'SOILED LINEN' bin. Said she needed to get a needle to work it out like any sliver one would have. She left and came back with a nurse and a needle. She reapplied the numbing stuff with the Q-tip from off of the 'SOILED LINEN' bin, put that back on that 'SOILED LINEN' bin. She then used the needle to finally free the small bit of metal from his eye. Then she picked the Q-tip back up off of the 'SOILED LINEN' bin and tried to grab it with the fibers of the Cotton. It worked! Success! Except, what was all on that 'SOILED LINEN'bin? It's something that I have went to bed with for the past week hoping to hear something about the lack of standard of caution. My boyfriend did not want to go to the hospital that Thursday night. As if I couldn't be more disappointed with what just happened, I was not the patient, and I am not a nurse nor doctor, I did not want to interject myself into the visit. She looked at his eye to make sure she got everything out, noticed a rust ring already and prescribed him an antibiotic and recommended he see an eye doctor come morning to drill out that rust spot. So the metal was out of his eye and the doctor left the room with the nurse. We waited for the girl with the computer to check us out. The entire time we were there, his wristband was incorrect. They were very close! But they had a different guy. Like the dob was off, the last name, how can an ER run like that? So another 45 minutes goes by and the entire time they were rewriting the paperwork, I completely felt like they were insinuating that this mishap was his fault. He was wearing long sleeves, it was cold, aren't they supposed to make sure like double check everything? I left with him, feeling completely embarrassed and disappoined of my hometown hospital. Not to mention, completely guilty of any risk his eye is now in because I pushed him to go in the first place. To add insult to injury, the guy behind the glass was enjoying music on his buds as we left. If I had to do it all over again, I would go somewhere else; would drive a little farther. read more
