Sent a message to the business and Owner Kara Tipton, reached out to help. Little did we know that this experience was going to be way crazier than expected. I went on con-leave (the opportunity to propose) and met my gf in Vegas. Unfortunately, the ring was stuck in mailing at the base. Kara, on her private family vacation, went OUT OF HER WAY to get me a substitute ring, shipped overnight, to my hotel so that I could go through with my plan. Long story short - popped question, got the yes, and really felt that I made the right choice with choosing Tipton's. They from top down, care about the customer and their experience. Thankfully I came in to get my wedding ring and bands cleaned. I had no wait, was friendly greeted by all employees. The lady behind the desk waved me off and said "that is included" when I came back to get the ring, they didn't try to match up the details at all, and refused to give me back the pieces stating "included means that the jewelry shop keeps the pieces" and they were "too small" anyway. To resize a ring from 9.5-7.5, there's almost 1/2 a centimeter taken off. There's plenty to give back. The manager just lied about it instead to keep the metal, which I did not get a credit for. If the sales lady was upfront about taking the extra metal and keeping it, I wouldn't be upset, but due to the fact that she waved me off and made me think my ask was reasonable, then gaslit me after, I lost a part of an important heirloom to my family.
