I wanted to wear…read moremy dress blues to the USMC 250th Anniversary Ball, so I ordered a complete set of ribbons from a competitor over a month in advance. They took my payment details, and I assumed everything was set. But two weeks before the event, I emailed to check on the status. Three days later, they finally replied: They'd had an issue processing my card and simply decided not to follow up, so my order hadn't even been started. On top of that, they never answered their phone, making it impossible to reach anyone. Frustrated, I gave up on them and called Super Thin Ribbons instead. Marcy patiently answered all my questions and helped me place the order right away. A couple of days later, my old CO mentioned that I was entitled to a few additional medals from my Gulf War service (unit citations and the like) that I was didn't know about. I called Marcy back, and she cheerfully added them to my order, then shipped everything the very next day. She was so concerned about getting it to me in time for the ball that when the tracking info stalled a few days later, she immediately offered to remake the set and rush-ship a replacement. Thankfully, it wasn't needed--the carrier located the package the next day and updated the status to show it was in my state. I received my beautiful ribbons and a fantastic set of mini medals a full week before the ball, and they look incredible! My entire experience with Super Thin Ribbons was 100 times better than anything I'd dealt with before. I highly recommend them for all your medals, ribbons, and mini medals needs--they're reliable, responsive, and truly go above and beyond.

I have only had a minor hiccup…read moreon the turnaround time on an update. this time, I placed an order on 18OCT and needed to update the order 3 days later. I just got the email that the order was completed and shipped, but the updates were not showing on the order. I called after hours and spoke to Ms. Marcy. She opened the box to verify that everything was good to go and told me that they were on the way to drop them at the post office. Great customer service and a great product as usual.

Update on the Kershaw knife. It's broken again. I'm having…read moreto send the knife into the company myself and have it fixed and sharpened. This is a horrible product and service. To be lied too for several months by employees and not really checking to see what the status was just shows the character and honesty of this business. Smh
