We have noticed over the last few years…read moreand just during out recent stay, that large groups come and they are very loud and the kids run all over. There were groups of kids running and yelling through our camp spot. About 20 adults gathered by a campfire near us and about 10 kids ran wild, yelling and etc. They took over the area and had no respect for other campers. The evening before this happened a group of about 30 rafters came in and surrounded us and were loud. It seems like the big groups have taken over and they do not respect others. Copperfield is no longer the peaceful place that you can just sit in your campspot and enjoy visiting or walking around. Getting hit by kids on scooters and etc is a worry. There is a sign that says no scooters on the walk up to the restroom but kids use this to ride their bikes, scooters you name it. The host drives by and sees and hears it all but doesn't do anything about it. It says quiet time is at 11 pm, but that's a long time to wait for a little peace and quiet and courtesy from others. Sorry for the bad review, it's just very disappointing.

Oh yeah - seeing the stars from the hot spring pool was dreamy. I'm not sure this would be a pick if the place was full of - the sites are kind of close. But I imagine many families create a lot of great memories here. Make sure to get off at the correct exit or you'll be driving for what seems like a couple miles on a gravel road. But it does immediately put you in the campy state of mind.

Staff collects trash every morning and also will refill propane tanks for you if you leave the tank out, you just have to pay for the propane! We chose to get a group site as there were 3 groups in our party. The group site consisted of 4 sites forming a box around shared grass (shown in photo). Full hookups including a direct dump spot on your site! There are plenty of solo sites which each have their own grass patch (pro tip - sites around spot 77 offer a view of the river!). super dog friendly with stations throughout the park for bags and waste trash cans. The main lobby has free popcorn available for self serve. Very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as a mini fitness area and showers located to the left of the lobby. 8pm-10pm is reserved for adults only. Bathrooms were literally the nicest i have ever seen (super clean!) with each private stall having a shower, sink, toilet and complimentary bathmats. bathmats only ran out once in the 4 times i used the shower. There is also access to the river from the campsites and areas for fly fishing! Full time residents stay here as well :) Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again!

Individual bathrooms with showers equipped with bath mats! Very clean and the water pressure was excellent! 6 bathrooms in our area with the laundry room. A short walk from our camp site. The main check-in area had a club house with a pool/spa (adults only 18 and up from 8-10pm) with a lounge. They had some entertainment at nights (scheduled). Free popped popcorn all day, help yourself which was just like what you get at the movies - yum! RV Park is dog friendly and has a dog park and has dog areas and poop bags/dispensers thought out the park. It is close to the river so some spots have a river view and you are able to walk to the river and fish. Really loved our stay and will be back next year! Highly recommended!

What a spectacular little spot located right on the outskirts of Enterprise, OR. What's also…read morespectacular, is the view of the Wallowas when the clouds and coverage decide to eventually burn off....this may take all day, but it's well worth the view when they're in sight. The Log House RV is conveniently located near Joseph and the Wallowa State Park, and exploring those areas was such a fun time that we're planning a return trip before the summer's end. Brian and Margaret, the owners, were both amazingly welcoming and inviting. My husband had reserved a luxury campsite, (eg "Glamping"), for my birthday weekend, and Margaret offered to have a small box of Arrowhead chocolate caramels, (from a local chocolate shop located in nearby Joseph), waiting for us upon our arrival. My husband took her up on her offer, and the candy was decadent. Also, Brian left a birthday card beside the chocolates that was personally handwritten by him. The luxury tent that my husband, myself and our chocolate lab spent our weekend was clean and cozy and had the absolute most comfortable bed that we've ever slept in - no kidding. The bathrooms and shower house was also clean, and they are even 2 sets of washers and dryers if you feel inclined to cleaning your dirty duds during your stay. Overall, a wonderful birthday weekend was had, and much thanks and appreciation to both Brian and Margaret!! **Side Note: A little hidden gem that's not to be missed and is located in nearby Lostine, is the recently renovated and re-vamped Lostine Tavern, (the locals call it "LT"), for either a delicious breakfast or lunch. Also, a little shop named "Beecrowbee" that's located in Joseph is a great stop for handmade soaps, unique jewelry and apparel.

This park was very nice & surprisingly cheap. $22 for full hook up including sewer. They also have really nice bathrooms with great free showers. There's also a fish cleaning station. Sunny summer days, cold winter nights - all is well at the Cambridge House Bed & Breakfast…read more This is our fourth time staying at the Cambridge House, and so I feel like I can finally write a thorough review. Let me first say, I'm not generally a fan of B&B's. My generalized experience has been that I feel like I'm intruding on all of the stuffed animals that have taken up residence in a bedroom. Being a man, I generally feel out of place and confused about where to sit, and what exactly I'm allowed to touch. In the case of the Cambridge House, I actually feel like I'm at home. The house is beautifully appointed and recently renovated, so it has all of the charm of the 1916 Craftsman that it is, without all of the pains of scalding water and creaking walls that I've come to expect from older homes. There are many cozy nooks in the house and finding a nice place to read a book is a true pleasure. Breakfast is prompt, tasty, and simple and the proprietor, Sheila, is a gem. It has some nice modern conveniences like free WiFi that make it easy for me to get work done while up visiting family. There are five lovely rooms, some pictures of which I have posted here. The rates are ridiculously reasonable. In short, if you're in this part of the world, this is the only place worth staying within 100 miles. We've been coming up here for almost ten years to visit family and we've tried every hotel and B&B within that distance. This is without a doubt the finest accommodation in the area, and is in a beautiful setting with some nice walks in all directions. Highly recommend anyone traveling through, or looking to get away for a quiet weekend. You won't regret it!
