It has ramps everywhere giving chance to children all ages and all needs to have fun. It is big enough so kids can run around keeping the distance (you know.... COVID times) Not every kid can use a regular swing, it takes a lot of core strength to use one, so Meadow's playground has a couple of swings with full seat (see pictures, red swings ) This place is a hidden gem. There's also a covered picnic area in case it's raining or too sunny. Oh! And the best part: Plenty of parking spots!

This was a super nice park and was perfect for young children and slightly older ones too. The play…read morestructures were big and had a large variety of things, slides, climbing, spinning, ropes, etc. The one for the slightly older kids with the steepest slides had beans puke all over it (not sure how long it had been there), which was super gross, but the park service truck came while we were there and power hosed the thing down. Our toddlers had a great time climbing on the blocks, enjoying the slightly shorter and less steep toddler friendly slides, and the bucket swings.

The set up and amenities are cherished after what felt like a long, hot walk on the trail. Lots of playground equipment, statues and historic outside pieces to take a gander at. The name is very appropriate as this park is literally across the stores and restaurants from downtown and the main drag which blends the two in a very convenient and resourceful way. Main City Park is also the beginning of another trailhead for the Foothills Trail as well. Very well kept and clean this park is great to spend time with family and is large enough if you wish to be more solitary from others you can to a certain degree.

There are times we grab some Out and About burgers which is close by and eat at a picnic table prior to walking Havanna. The park is well maintained and clean. We now go to a different preschool and we are so glad we took our daughter out of this school. I have many friends that will say the same thing. Look at lots of schools and see and feel the difference. The atmosphere at Imagination Station is very negative. I gave this exact review on the FB page. I have been since been contacted and attacked verbally by the owner for my review. I have the right to give this review. Please rethink this preschool if you are thinking placing your children in their care. Your children deserve better.

One of my favorite things about Steel Lake is that it is stocked with trout once or twice each year, providing great fishing opportunities throughout much of the season. The best part is you can visit their website and you can check if the water is okay for the kids to play with . There's usually an update regarding if you can swim and such. The only thing I'm worried about is when there is no one there to facilitate the other kids swimming, because I noticed there were lots of kids who goes there without their parents or guardians. The cops do come around for their rounds sometimes, but not all the time . I always have my eyes on my kids because there were sooooooo many people and soo many kids during school break holidays and I can't even imagine summer break. If you want to entertain your kids for hours bring them here and just have a picnic and enjoy the sand with the kids. Don't forget the shovel and bucket though lol.
