No running water, no showers, no flush toilets, but the outhouses were clean and didn't smell. It's a self-registration system when you get there, no ranger station or reservation system. For $10, it's a pretty good deal. More of a stopover than a destination. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to find and figure out after dark, because some of the signs are tiny and hard to read. It's not clearly marked how you get there on the highway once you see the sign. Once you're off the highway, take the paved road till it ends. Turn left and in a few miles, the campground entrance will be on your right.

Drive straight in which means people might not have slowed down from highway speeds. That's always a concern for me and so I will warn you to check carefully before crossing the parking lot. It is otherwise in great condition with a nice new looking building that has restrooms and water fountain and the "You are here" map. A display of brochures of North Dakota attractions and amenities for those who are touristing. Big plus, there is a free wifi here and it reaches to the parking area so you can update your maps and upload your Facebook while you're resting. Note: There is a sign at the entrance that says "No overnight camping" but camping is not the same as sleeping. You can sleep overnight, just ensure you're sleeping in your vehicle.
