Because I was checking in rather late, just after 10 PM, I called the phone number on the office door and a nice lady met me at the hotel room door. My room was small, but perfect for one adult, and although not fancy, it was extremely clean and had a frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Again, no frills, but super clean, tidy, easy check in and lowest priced room I've had in years. I would definitely stay here again. The park was busy with activity when we arrived, very friendly campers and locals. There is a community area in the center with buildings for use, and a playground. Owners are friendly and laid back, only charge $25 a night for any spot. Mostly 30 amp hookup with limited 50 amps. The power posts are shared and not always conveniently located right next to your spot so make sure you bring an extension cord. No sewage hookup available but there is a dump station. Check in is at the marina just past the campground entrance but we were able to park our trailer in an empty spot then drive down and talk to them. I'd definitely stay here again!

For $10, it's a pretty good deal. More of a stopover than a destination. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to find and figure out after dark, because some of the signs are tiny and hard to read. It's not clearly marked how you get there on the highway once you see the sign. Once you're off the highway, take the paved road till it ends. Turn left and in a few miles, the campground entrance will be on your right.

Food was good, if not exceptional, and a good value. Both my husband I opted for the small (5oz) burgers (-$1.25), the added a side (+$1.50 for fries, tots, or a salad). The tots were perfect: hot, crispy on the outside, not greasy. Burgers were very good, though they would have been improved by lettuce and a slice of tomato.
