This law firm couldn't help me in audit. They either lack skills or had wrong motivations.

BEWARE OF THIS PREDATORY LAW FIRM ! PLEASE READ TO THE END…read moreI hired them at the end of 2023, believing they were a professional and trustworthy law firm. From day one, I told them I didn't know anything about the legal system and was afraid of being scammed or taken advantage of. They reassured me they were nothing like that. We signed a contract for $8,900. Few months later, I attended an online hearing with my lawyer. After that, they billed me an extra $1,500 just because the lawyer showed up. They said they will charge me every time they appear in court. I had no choice but to accept it, even though they never explained this in the beginning. Before my final master hearing, I contacted their assistant Rayza to speak with my lawyer and ask a few important questions. That's when she told me, "Your lawyer left the company." I asked what would happen now, and she said, "We'll assign you a new lawyer soon." I trusted them again and waited. Weeks passed, and no one followed up. In early March 2025, I was planning to make my monthly payment in person at their office (as I preferred paying there and getting a paper receipt). Because I couldn't get a day off from work during the first week, I called Rayza and asked if I could come in the following Tuesday, March 11. She said okay and also will notify the team so they wouldn't call and pressure me. Then, just a few days later, I got this letter on my door saying they would no longer represent me claiming I hadn't answered their calls. That was a complete lie. In fact, they've called and pressured me repeatedly in the past about payments, often in aggressive and unprofessional ways. Every time they called me from Richmond Office, they didn't let me explain myself. Because they were yelling at me and not listening what I'm trying to tell them. I did paid them in total over $4000 and expect to get their kind service, didn't expect to get pressed by unprofessional toxic employees. I only knew two names: Roselyn (Rosy) and Karen both of which may not even be their real names. Many of the people I spoke with were rude and dismissive, and several had strong accents (possibly Indian), making communication even more difficult. One male employee from the Richmond office was especially disrespectful, constantly pressuring me over the phone and making me feel even more anxious and hopeless. I told them I had no one else to turn to financially, but they kept telling me to borrow money or "figure it out." I eventually made an appointment with Rayza at the Fairfax office to explain how the Richmond office was treating me. I told her they were yelling at me and interrupting me when I tried to speak calmly. She apologized and promised to handle it but nothing changed. After receiving the letter about being dropped, I called more than 20 times to reach assistant Rayza. The receptionist finally told me they were connecting me to her, but instead, a man answered and said he was her assistant. Clearly, she was avoiding me. About an hour later, Rayza finally emailed me saying that the billing department would call me to explain the letter. Billing manager Roselyn called and said the letter was sent because of a missed payment, not because I didn't answer calls. I asked why the letter lied, and she said it was a mistake. She admitted the real reason they removed my lawyer was because of the payment issue. But I told her: Rayza had told me a month earlier that my lawyer left the firm and that they'd assign a new one. So who is lying? They lied, took my money, and dropped me right before my final hearing. They made me feel anxious, alone, and hopeless and I will not forgive them. They knew I couldn't afford to sue them, and they took advantage of that. Now they act like nothing happened. Think twice before signing a $10,000 contract with Fayad Law and getting charged couple thousands more later just for court appearances. They present themselves as professionals which they are not. This is why they charge way more than other law firms. Don't let them fool you.Thank you for reading.

I cannot recommend Fayad Law enough! The whole firm, most notably Attorney Aida was timely,…read moreprofessional, and thoughtful throughout our whole engagement. Attorney Aida went out of the way to always get back to us and make sure we understood our options and next steps. We had switched law firms multiple times and this was by far our best experience. Our consideration ultimately got solved and we could not have done this without the counsel of attorney Aida. I should also note how great it was to deal with Oscar at the firm. I highly recommend this firm, you will not regret it!

I have known Mr. Bryan Bishop for many years. He has helped me and my clients. Mr. Bishop is…read moreattentive, very competent, and takes pride in his work. I found him very knowledgeable about Trust and inheritance law. And Mr. Bishop is just plain enjoyable to work with. I highly Bryan Bishop.

Honestly, I've never worked with a lawyer before and really didn't know what to expect. As a big…read morefan of the Suze Orman show, Suze clearly told me (personally, through the teletube) that I needed a will and trust. Sure, I tried online will and trust services (including my friend, S.O.'s), but I was really unsure of how "legal" those documents were. I didn't want my big ticket items (i.e. car, house, etc.) to end up in a trust that wasn't valid. Surprisingly, there aren't that many advertisements for will and trust lawyers. However, I did find Mr. Brian Bishop's website. I e-mailed his office and was shocked as to the level of detail and recommendations that they provided even before my (FREE information session - you have to register, though, so the office knows someone is showing up). That's right, it really is free for the first session. If, for some reason you decide to go with another lawyer, they don't bother you... I really liked that). Another plus was his legal assistant Liz. She was very gracious, but sharp as a knife with any issues you may have. Eventually, after scoping out some other places, I decided to go with Mr. Bishop's office. For the most part, after your initial discussion, Mr. Bishop gives you plenty of time to think about what you really want in your documents. Although he writes up your documents, expect some back and forth for you to provide comments and editing. True, it is rather pricey (compared to a software program), I really felt that I got my money's worth. I was really particular with what I wanted in my documentation and Mr. Bishop was very accommodating. If memory serves me correctly, within a month or so of my initial meeting I had both a will and trust ready to go. The only thing I really knew about lawyers was the lawyer jokes, but after working with Mr. Bishop, I really have a favourable view now. I will definitely be back if I need any of his other legal services. Tell him his youngest client ever sent you (the Asian lady who is a big fan of hello kitty).

I explained that I simply wanted an honest, factual, and professional evaluation of the home's worth. From the very beginning, I was amazed by how professional, meticulous, and thorough Rick was throughout the appraisal process. When he noticed a discrepancy between the home's square footage listed by the city and his own measurements, he didn't just accept it--he sent his team back out to remeasure, then personally followed up with the city. When he couldn't get answers over the phone, he even went down to the city office in person to clarify the details. His dedication to accuracy and integrity was truly unparalleled. Once the appraisal was complete, Rick took the time to walk me through every part of the report. He explained how he chose comparable properties and how those influenced his valuation. He made sure I fully understood the findings and felt confident explaining them to my family. Rick's professionalism, honesty, and commitment to excellence gave me complete peace of mind. His passion for his work, dedication to accuracy, and unwavering integrity ensured that I could trust the results without question. Thank you, Rick Phillips and Appraisals Guaranteed, for going above and beyond. I would highly recommend Rick to anyone looking for an appraiser who truly embodies honesty, professionalism, and care for his clients.
