Well, a day into my bucket list trip with my Pops in Alaska, I was in full on regret. I wanted a real camera; not my iPhone. Art is the guy. He is honest, knows his cameras, and is the kinda guy you love and wish you lived the life of. Art gave me a price on the X-T2 that was literally $800 less that every place in LA. The selection was limited, as it didn't include Sony or Canon, but Art explained the markups on those brands were BS and those companies didn't give him a margin to make any profit selling. That's honest. In summation, Art is a gem. Probably worth flying to Juneau just to purchase a Fuji camera from him.

Cruise Laundry! - Our Norwegian cruise did not have laundry services available and so we were…read moreforced to research and find a way to clean clothes. We found this place online in Juneau, dropped off at 9:15 am, clothes for 4 people were washed, dried, folded, and saran wrapped ready to go by 1 pm. (They told us 2pm, but were early). They updated us via text, we paid online before we picked up. All clothes were present and accounted for. I would 10/10 recommend and return.

Good points: the counter staff is nice and they have your clothes ready when they say they will. The prices are reasonable too, especially considering they have no competitors. The bad news is that they damage a pretty high percentage of the clothes you entrust them with. Ruined or missing buttons are most common, but they also wet washed a jacket I brought in for dry cleaning and had the nerve to attach a note claiming I had insisted on not dry cleaning it. My rough estimate is that about one item in twenty gets some form of damage here but, Murphy's Law being in effect, the item damaged will be the most valuable or favorite thing you bring in. They are fine for items you can handle being harmed but don't drop off anything you care a lot about.

There is a pier that overlooks the outside of the hatchery. It has gorgeous picturesque views. There is also the inside part of the hatchery where the young salmon are hatched. Last there is a gift shop that also has a tank with some interesting sea creatures as well as a petting tank. You can sample some of the smoked salmon in the gift shop. Overall, it was a unique experience, and we enjoyed it.

It costs 25cents/minute for the 2 big dryers, while the smaller ones will charge 25 cents for the first 2 min, then 25 cents for 3 additional minutes. The dryers say 25, but the surprise is total. $10 wasn't enough to dry 2 loads of clothes. I left with dump things, because I didn't had enough money with me.

They created 4 items within the short week, and he was very proud of his work. The instructor Jodie brought in was very knowledgeable, patient, and caring. On the last day of class, all students were able to show off their completed projects to their family. While being proud of their own accomplishments, I noticed several students introducing their families to the instructor and thanking her wholeheartedly for the past week. I even saw tears being shed by some students, and yes my son was one of them. I highly recommend this business, and any class/course Jodie has to offer.
