Been waiting to try this place since their sign went up a few months back and finally got a chance. There is an increase popularity in Taiwanese fried chicken/chicken popcorn/night market taste over the recent times, and this place targets those.
The place: The owner has obviously put some effort trying to make this place a modern but rustic hang out joint. A combination of table seatings and bar seatings.
The food: You can get many of the typical Taiwanese night market foods here. There is a self serving station where you pick our own stuff and they weigh it and fried the items for you. I would recommend trying one of the fried chicken or the beef noodle soup. Food in general is on the spicy side but tasty.
The drinks: a selection of ice tea, milk tea, and specialty tea. Not sure if they are licensed but they have a few alcohol on display.
The service: They are currently a bit short on staff, so everything takes quite a while to be made. read more
