The counter is half bakery ( muffins, brownies, etc.). and half deli (sandwiches, pizza, etc.). Cases of drinks and stands of candy and chips comprise the rest of the store. I credit them with knowing their audience. Being in a train station, they get passengers, tourists from the nearby hotels, and workers who need/want these particular food items. And cigarettes, snus, and such, behind the counter.

This is the local Swedish version of 7 Eleven or Circle K. It serves snacks of all types, drinks,…read more tobacco and a host of miscellaneous things. Orderly and well stocked. The staff are very friendly, smiling and wanting to assist. Sweden is basically a cashless society. Expect to use credit or debit cards just about anywhere you purchase things.

At first sight most ppl would back off, just fbecause of the name. But you dont have to, this is it, this is the place to buy the stuff you forgot to get earlier. They have everything from detergent to cheese and i would say that prices are fairly good. I havent seen anyone else in it or entering it, so i would just double check use-by date before i eat something. But a good local store with a great variation of groceries and im happy they can still run the business! So dont be afraid to support the locals..

This place has the coolest snacks and other things to eat along with amazing sweets. It is a 7-11 like an American has never seen. I've been in them in Japan, but they pale in comparison to the Swedish concept. It is like MacDonalds in France, a completely different beast with nothing in common with what we see stateside.
