Do not order uber eats from this restaurant. It was the worst and most over priced Thai food I have…read moreever eaten. Both the green curry chicken and pad kra pao were mainly undercooked potatoes, tough large pieces of cabbage, overcooked old fried tofu and very old dead beans. As far as i know massaman curry is the only dish that has potato in it. How can they justify charging $39 for a container full of undercooked potatoes, old tofu, sauce and a few bits of chicken. Did the restaurant think they could get away cooking such food as it was an uber eats delivery.??? So people do not order uber eats from this restaurant!!!!

Why have I not been here before? For some reason I have walked past this place many times. I think…read morethat it might be a signage issue. But this place is really lovely. If you are looking for a classy cocktail bar in a beautiful old building with lovely décor, this place has the goods. The interior decoration is unusual, but cool. Kind of a upmarket eclectic feel. Large arm chairs and vintage furniture, while having a modern touch and a weird seated area with a wall of stings. Kind of hard to explain. Nonetheless, it is also about the drinks. Great selection of spirits and cocktails. Extensive menu, you will struggle to choose. The cocktails are well priced and do use good quality spirits in the mixes. The bar staff are attentive and there is complete waiter service here. So, find a seat and they will look after you. The cocktails are really lovely, I had a Pink Grapefruit and Tequila cocktail. Very fresh and tasty. The rim of the glass was rolled in sugar which cut through the citrus. Lovely bar and I will return on a regular basis!

Omakase! OMG - what a fun way to dine at this place…read more Ascend above the noise and bustle of the Electra House bars on the ground, and you arrive in an open space with a mixture of high (bar-style) and regular (dining room style) tables to suit your group dynamics. You have chopsticks AND knife and fork at hand, to fit in with the variety of Asian Fusion food offerings. The dishes are as appetising as the photos suggest. But once our knowledgeable server described the Omakase option, we were hooked! Four 'rounds' of dishes from the menu; changed on a daily basis - so think of it as the banquet option, but you never know which one until you arrive. Especially for a first time visit, it's the best way to go.

The edgy on-trend interior including 'Electra Blue' painted floors, neon signs and light boxes surrounded by Tasmanian Oak framing, give the sense of "You have arrived!" as soon as you set foot in the venue. With many years experience in Modern Australian, Italian, Korean and Japanese cuisine, Executive Chef Jamie Kang uses these skilled techniques paired with flavours from his Korean heritage in our contemporary asian menu. Using fresh South Australian produce, he creates a seamless marriage between Eastern, European and Australian flavours.
