Staff is very rude! The restaurant was dirty. Food was undercooked ..........................................................

We haven't been here in several years (pre-Covid), we were rather shocked at the prices... the combo price wasn't enticing either. We ordered a grilled chicken salad, a 1/3'd pound burger, and sweet tater fries. NO indication of soft drink prices! We ordered water instead of, it doesn't taste like RO either. $27.67 My daughter ordered a 1:3'd pound burger with sweet tater fries, and a soft drink for $15.14. We didn't wait much, our medium burgers were just shy of done. The chicken salad was a good size and my spouse enjoyed the meal. I did enjoy my meal, my daughter was disappointed in her done (not medium) burger. Her Dr Pepper was $2.99 for a 20oz cup, the price wasn't on the menu though the milkshake prices were. This was my first time eating at a Fuddruckers in Midland! Not only that, but the last time I ever ate at a Fuddruckers was back in Southern California the same year Covid-19 started and was disappointed when I found out that particular restaurant went out of business, possibly due to the pandemic! Anyway, I was so happy when I walked into this Fuddruckers out here in Midland! It was like, old times again! And as usual, I purchased the medium 1/2 pound burger sandwich and what's awesome is that you still get to add your own condiments of your choice like onions and lettuce and mayonnaise! The prices may have increased slightly, but the food tastes just as good as ever before! I ordered the burger sandwich with the thick fries and medium strawberry milkshake! Oh, so delicious and that really fulfilled my hunger! Hey, what more can I ask for! I highly recommend going to this restaurant; especially, if you're craving for some really tasty burgers! It's worth it! The staff at that particular location are very friendly! The atmosphere overall, is friendly! They play real great oldies music which makes it a very happy place to be! My husband won a free Fuddruckers 1/3lb burger, fries and a drink from a trivia game at the Midland Rockhounds... I love FREE. This was my first visit to a Fuddruckers. I was a little nervous bc of the slew of low reviews BUT, I have to say, we had a great visit! We came around 12:15pm on a Tuesday. Having never been to this restaurant, I was unsure of the procedure to order. We had come into the establishment through the mall entrance (not the front doors). I had to ask a fellow patron on what to do (as from our location, I couldn't see the ordering line). The ordering line was fairly long but it moved pretty quickly. The cashier was friendly and helpful. We ordered a 1/3lb burger, wedge fries, a drink and a kids meal (chicken strips, thin fries and a drink). 2 coupons printed out for 2 free cookies and the nice lady gave us a second kids cup for our second child. The toppings/condiments station was great! All the veggies were fresh and full. The ketchup was out but was replenished before our food came out. I especially liked the Ranch. Our order came out after only about 7 minutes or so. Not bad at all! Lady at the pickup counter was super friendly! Our food was excellent! I loved the wedge fries! Burger was cooked perfectly Medium (like I ordered). The kid's chicken strips were tasty! They had nice flavor and were piping hot. Restaurant was clean and orderly. The busser was clearing plates from used/empty tables at a decent rate. We'd definitely return! read more

We've been eating at this location for years and it's always been good...until lately. We were here a few weeks ago and my husband found a piece of metal in his burger. Showed it to the manager and he apologized and offered a free replacement. A one-time fluke so we blew it off. Today's experience didn't include any rogue metal, but they got my husband's order wrong and the veggie bar needed refilling and there were no knives anywhere. He ordered the Texas burger (jalapeños and onions) and got a plain cheeseburger. Plus they charged him $3 for unlimited toppings. If that's normal, I never noticed it before. I had the kids cheeseburger and the meat patty was smaller but they put it on a big bun. The meat on both burgers tasted like it had been cooked earlier and then rewarmed. We both ordered the skinny fries and got the regulars instead. Just a very disappointing lunch that has us staying away for a while. So sad to see such a great place going downhill. read more

Back in the day Fudruckers was amazing. Tonight he service and the food totally sucked. They ran out of wedge fries, served us cold skinny fries. The worlds greatest offer is suppose to be $6.00 plus a drink on Monday and they charged me $7.29 for the meal plus $2.29 for a drink. The restrooms were dirty and the cookies were burned. How does a chain restaurant get a away with running a restaurant like crap. I don't think I will be eating at this location again Burned cookies. read more

Had been awhile since we had visited Fuddruckers because of their massive decline in service so we decided to try it again. Bad idea! HVAC was out again. An employee told us it had been out for over a month. Half the fountain drinks were out. I ordered a medium cooked burger and it was well done. At the toppings bar - they were out of ketchup, BBQ sauce, regular and jalapeño hot liquid cheese, purple onion and sliced jalapeños. There were 13 customers dining and 4 at the bar drinking. This was 6:09 on Saturday June 18, 2022. Years ago, this place would be packed at 6:00 on a Saturday night!! The manager was very friendly with the 4 at the bar. All 5 just cutting up with not a care in the world but don't dare ask her for any of these missing items at the toppings bar. She gets very defensive quickly and blames it on being short staffed. She has zero clue how to manage as two females are just standing around playing grab ass at the register. The only upside to the visit is a young man named Carlos. He was trying very hard to maintain his composure, apologize and bring us missing toppings. He needs to be the manager! read more

Stopped here with a team full of teenage players hoping to get a good meal and it was ...ugh! The place was filthy, vegetables and other vegetables were on the floor where I guess people dropped them and hadn't been picked up. The trash cans were overflowing and there was no one making an effort to take clean them out. There was a looong line to order as they only had one cashier. When the food came out, more than half of the group was still in line ordering and there was nothing spectacular about it. The only good thing about it was that we were all able to sit together(given that it was relatively empty) but again we didn't get to "eat" together as a group. My recommendation is just go to Whataburger. read more

I visited tonight, 5/30/20. I have not been in a while and usually eat the burgers. A friend suggested the Dogzilla to me and I saw pictures online that showed with chili, cheese etc... I am looking at the board menu and I dont see it. There are very few people inside as nd no one in line. I step up to the register and the employee just looks at me and doesnt come forward for a minute of two. Steps up and asks if I wish to order (as if I am there for exercise...). I said yes. She asks my name and whether I am eating in or taking out. I said I am taking out. I ask if they have the Dogzilla. She responds, you want a hot dog? I am thinking the Dogzilla is a hot dog, so I responded yes. I said,, they call it the Dogzilla? She said 'the big one'. I said yes. (At this point, I'm am under the impression neither one of us knows what a Dogzill a is but of course I do not work here... 'Do you want the meal? I said no. You dont want a drink? No. I ask, it has chili and cheese? She says, you have to ask... they no longer have the self serve so I say I would like the chili and cheese. She says literally, 'you have to ask and points toward where you pick up your food. I said ok, I will ask over there. I wait for them to call my name and a young man calls my name. I walk up and tell him I would like chili, cheese, onions and mustard. He looks at me and says, you have to pay extra for that! I said she told me to ask here... (I dont care if I have to pay but I didnt know I would have to tell them how to do their job) I left the 'hot dog' and $6.43 for them to enjoy. Sunday night we went out for a family dinner. We were planning on ordering our dinner and getting it to go. But after seeing that the seating area appeared empty we went inside to order and sit down. We were greeted by one of the most respectful and energetic cashiers. I didn't see the spelling of his name so I'm sorry if I get it wrong, but his name was Alpha. Our evening was blessed by how helpful and courteous he was and it wasn't only to us. He went table to table checking on customers and did a great job pre-bussing the tables. The only issue we had was that there was a large family of about 10 adults that stuck their 4 children with iPhones 3 tables away from them and right next to us. So we had to listen to 4 different shows while trying to eat and enjoy our own conversation. The only other issue we had was another table of 5 teenage girls that were loud and obnoxious. I'm not blaming the restaurant for this, only the adults that don't raise their children with enough manners to know how to act in a public establishment. It was pretty funny that our 8 and 10 yr old children were appalled at how the teenagers were acting lol. Ultimately the service was great and we really appreciated Alpha for a job well done. read more

Big props to the grill cook the burgers were amazing and his station was clean. The rest of the place was disgusting. Nasty floors, drink station was a disaster and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Brown lettuce on salad bar, no ice, and most of the tables were piled up with trash. Everything in Odessa/Midland sucks apparently compared to the rest of the country, I always order a hot dog at Fuddruckers because their hot dogs totally rule. Anyway, this Fuddruckers and also the one in Odessa cut them in half to cook them which means that you get an overcooked, tough hot dog and that blows. The ones in Dallas and Lubbock always cook them properly so they effin rule. Also, the silverware at this place is always dirty, what's up with that? Can you guys not wash your dishes? The one in Odessa isn't on yelp yet but the employees there are rude, they seem like they hate their jobs, I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes waiting for someone, anyone to notice and help me which sucks bc I was on a limited lunch break. Absolutely awful customer service . I asked for a knife got given a steak knife that was dirty so I asked again and got 3 plastic knife and fork packets thrown at me . Dirty place with tables with which were not cleaned and staff that get on their phones as soon as they are finished servicing the customer . There were 3 staff whilst I was there with only 5 customers in the restaurant and not once did any tables get cleaned and I took photos of 4 which were next to me ! Fuddruckers will always be a decent mid-tier burger joint, it's service that will make the difference from one location to the next. The service here is okay in that the food gets to you relatively promptly and hot. However, the people here need a lesson or two in customer service. I sincerely hope management gets a good read on this review because I'm usually pretty lenient with this aspect of my experience anytime I go anywhere. Get a wrench, boss... Tighten it up. read more

The only disappointment was the size of the 1/3 pound patty it was the same size as the kids burger. Butchered our order. Tried to keep it simple as to not have it messed up, but it was wrong anyway. Ordered 4 1/3 burgers.. all with cheese, all with wedge fries, all with drinks. When it was time to pick up the burgers from the counter, one burger was without cheese... okay, not that big of a deal... I explain I needed cheese and they take the burger and fries back. This used to be a fair place to get a good burger but now has gone down the drain. It appears no one cares neither staff or management. The food was always great for a decent price. I liked the open-faced style, & the salad & condiment bar. They had great melted cheese, both regular (chieddar) & spicy-flavored. I also liked that they offered a vegetarian-friendly garden patty (or veggie patty). It's one of the best garden burgers around, not too dry. I also enjoyed the bakery counter with their cookies, brownies, shakes & malts. Many times I've been here, they were usually busy, noisy, & running out of places to sit (so we would spill out into the Food Court). The restrooms were also well-maintained, & have at least 2 stalls. Funny story about Fuddruckers, it was the place where I remember deciding to be a vegetarian (the first time) when I was about 7 or 8 years old, because I was disgusted by the sides of beef that were visible hanging in the butcher shop. Back then I would avoid Fuddruckers. Now, I'm a vegetarian again (since college, for other "cooler" reasons), & I love Fuddruckers! I miss it so much since moving out of Midland in 2014! read more

Me and the Fam came by to eat an early dinner... the young lady at the register didn't look to confident in her job... I ordered 2 1/3 lb burgers and a crispy chicken sandwich for my daughter... took forever for our order to be ready.. them when I got the order I was shorted 1 burger..and the line was a mile long to get to the cashier... luckily Chic Fila was near by... very disappointed in their ability of resolving my issues other than getting in line to order a burger that will be ready by the time my family finishes eating theirs .. read more

Burgers are always great! If you are OCD about cleanliness you may have an issue. The ketchup and mustard dispensers are always nasty along with the drink dispensers. I don't see much attention to detail. I was there when it opened at 11 and second customer. Come on Management let's clean it up. You get 3 stars only because the food was good. Service is lower like 1 and a half stars. Facilities even lower like ZERO Stars because of no so clean. read more

I have been to this location multiple times and always received friendly service. The burgers are tasty and hot and the veggies are always fresh. A little tidying up with a sense of urgency would definitely help, but I consider fuddruckers a fast food joint, Not a five star dining experience.
