We are new to Texas and just built a modular home on some property we had. The first time we hired…read moreA&M was to fix problems the original installers made and to repair wires cut by mistake when the internet was being installed. We we so impressed later we hired Mike and his crew to add electricity to our new garage. They put up a panel, lights, and lots of outlets. Everything looks and works great! Would highly recommend A&M Electric.

Please see below the actual e-mail I sent to Mr. Mike Huffer from A&M Electric. and the following…read morewas his is response. Mike, You quoted me over the phone $100 to install the water heater, and when I received your bill it was for $350.00. It is the second time that there has been a discrepancy in the bill I honor it the first time however, I am running a business and can not operate this way. Just left you a voice mail. please call me to discuss. I also had e-mail you previously stating the same issues. Thank you, Marina THIS WAS HIS RESPONSE! We itemize our estimates and invoices. When the scope changes the price changes. Had you had a competent general contractor with job supervision you would have been aware of the changing scope. You saved on engineering drawings as well as by having no supervision on the job this lead to mistakes that your plumber and carpenter/ Unlicensed G.C. made which cost you more money. We did tried contacting you to no avail. we completed the repairs due to the switching of the sink and toilet as well as an electric Insta hot that was improperly purchased by someone with out a master plumbing license that new what they where doing. You lack of experience and supervision should not equate to costing me more money. Hopefully you learned something and will hire a good G.C or quit complaining about the extras do to your own poor decisions. Regardless everything extra we did at cost. We do not believe in pencil whipping on extras. Send the extra scope out running a 240 volt 30 amp dedicated 40' circuit from the panel to an existing sheetrock wall. And then add the 30 amp cord whip. We charged u $250 more. You cant find anyone that cheap! And i have to wait months for you to respond and be treated like a thief. if your going to own property in Texas i recommend learning our values. So pay your bill or you will learn California and Hawaii don't have a monopoly on the courts. I believe the supreme court just over turned them. One thing you can count on in Texas as we take care of our own we have exceptional pride in who we are and we practice conscious capitalism some thing you may study up on. And we will not put up with cronyism especially from blue states. Pay for the services you received or our lawyers will meet here in Texas where justice and the law prevails not cronyism your the problem with this country and people like you. Expecting something for free from hard working people because these tactics of not paying the last 10% usually cost sub contractors more money to chase than its worth. Unfortunately for you im a fighter not a flighter i stand up for truth freedom and what I believe is right. If you cant stand for your principle you don't stand at all. Balls in your court you want play or pay i will enjoy either.

Good people and quality service. Responsive to questions and information…read more This is the second time I've used Faithco and they are super good at communicating their arrival time and follow up.

We had Faithco give estimates on preparing a house to sell…read more There were some elements of their estimate that were reasonable here are the parts that were not. A toilet seat wobbled a small amount. The Faithco plumber said it would be $275-$1000 to fix it. I took a look at it and it took me 15 seconds to tighten the nuts at the base of the toilet. The drip tray of an air conditioner in the attic had been collecting water and draining through a pipe for years, which is not ideal! The drain took a path that zig-zagged up and down a bit. They proposed raising the unit to be suspended from the rafters and replacing the pan. I asked why not just replace the pipe, taking a straighter path and he said that the AC unit sitting on top of styrofoam supports was putting at risk of falling. His quote was $2800 to raise the unit. And he wouldn't offer other options even after I questioned each part. I asked another company and they suggested changing the pan for $1500 and fixing the drain for $500. We went with just fixing the drain for $500. We wanted a quote on replacing a 20+ year old AC system. Faithco couldn't find the model number of the unit on the equipment outside but found a 3 ton furnace in the attic so they quoted us (summer of 2025) $13,800 for a SEER 15.2 3 ton unit and $16,800 for a SEER 16.2 unit. Another contractor found the nameplate and showed it to me (a little hard to find but not really, right on the compressor) and saw it was a 2 ton unit (you can tell it's a 2 ton because the model number ends in "24"). The other contractor subsequently quoted us $10,500 for a 2 ton system and $12,800 for a 3 ton system. The other contractor also pointed out that since the house has a 2 ton unit for the bedrooms and a 4 ton unit for the main living space, high SEER is less important, the unit would mostly be used in the evenings, not all day. I had a follow-up conversation with the Faithco HVAC tech and he doubled-down on believing it was a 3 ton unit even though I told him I saw the model number ending in "24". He said, and I recall it exactly because it was so odd, "In this area, we make sure our our compressors match our furnaces." I bit my tongue but wanted to say, "I agree, but the nameplate I'm looking at still ends in "24"". Faithco recommended replacing 3 AC float switches for $225 apiece. Maybe it was me but I couldn't figure out why we needed them. I don't think they tested the existing units but I'm not sure. Soooo, we went with Evans Air instead.
