Our drains had produced this black oily sludge which Erik explained was the aftermath of years of oil and soap. It was truly a stressful mess. Early that morning, we actually had another plumber who used a traditional drain auger to attempt clearing the drain, but it did not work. Erik used a hydrojet that easily eliminated the black ooze. Afterwards, he used a camera to probe the inner guts of the drain to insure everything was clear. Erik is truly a professional and I will definitely have him back again to maintain these old cast iron drains. On top of that, his pricing is fair and reasonable. He spoke to my home warranty, who then denied the claim as well because of something to do with my main line; which I was not having issues with. Once Adam told me he couldn't help me (multiple times), he stated he could "courtesy" run a snake down the washer drain but told me if something failed, I would be paying hundreds to thousands of dollars, out of my own pocket. Adam also told me how my area of service was way out of his area, like I was being an inconvenience to him and his day. Adam also stated he had his own plumbing business and stated he charged way more that what I am expected to pay with Dispatch Home Services. After Adam left, I contacted my home warranty company and discussed the situation with them once again.
