I stated I would get the injections just so I could continue to be a patient. I've had 5 back surgeries so I am in almost constant pain. I stopped getting the injections every month because they weren't working and at time made the pain worse. When I went for my appointment in January I was told I was being dropped as a patient. I asked to speak with the doctor she refused to come into the room and closed the door to her office until I left the office, left the dirty work to her poor staff. She also told me she would do knee injections after I had fallen on my knee. When the day came for the injection she came in the room asked me if this was workmen's Compensation I told her no she turned around left the room and never returned, a staff person came in and said she was not doing the injection. I did have alternative insurance but apparently they don't pay as much as Workmen's Compensation. Obviously she only cares about the almighty dollar and not the patient. Beware

Dr. Geraci is great. Of the few physiatrists I've seen over the years, I feel he is the most…read morecompetent, understanding and flexible in scheduling. He also has a keen eye for reviewing MRIs. A recent injury required me to receive an MRI after PT was not fully able to address and relieve the pain. That MRI report came back unremarkable, even though I had a concerning amount of pain and discomfort. My PCP scheduled an appointment with a different physiatrist who also claimed to have reviewed the film and said there was nothing wrong in the area of concern and that it was absolutely coming from a previous injury elsewhere. I was not content with his findings so I went to Dr. Geraci for a second opinion. What I immediately appreciated is that he performed a physical evaluation first to check for symptoms prior to reviewing the images and report in order to have an unbiased opinion. After the physical exam, he felt there was an issue in the area that initially came back unremarkable and then went to review the images. Within five minutes, he found the protrusions on the MRI images that everyone else missed. As a result, the report was re-reviewed and amended by another radiologist who concurred with Dr. Geraci's findings. Had I not gone to Dr. Geraci for a second opinion,, I'm not certain my injury would have healed and potentially could've gotten worse. Highly recommend.

He did send me for a special type of PT/pain management but the PT scheduling was erratic (no fault of PT or MD). When I went back to Geraci for reevaluation, he told me I may as well stop as it didn't do any good. I explained that it had been inconsistent & perhaps we should try it a bit longer. A friend referred me to Scott who was able to assess what I needed and a treatment plan for me very quickly. Scott has a team of therapists, Paul and Dave, who are helpful and awesome. They were very clear and honest about the path to get better and were patient and attentive during the recovery process. They listened and believed what I said when I described my discomfort and pain. They carefully watched me do my therapy to ensure they had the correct exercises I needed for each step of the way. I appreciated that they made me a folder with diagrams and notes about what I needed to do each day in between appointments. This really helped me to stay on track. I appreciated that they took their time to ensure I was at my best before releasing me from my program. I would recommend these guys for anyone who needs PT. Great location, availability of appointment times and the faculty is very clean. Staff and other patients are wearing masks at all times and the surfaces are constantly being cleaned.
