I tried purchasing a toy poodle puppy from Cheryl Fulghum. I found the listing on puppyfind.com. We communicated several times over a few days by email, text and phone. We made a verbal agreement that I would buy the puppy from her. She requires a $200 deposit which she wanted check, money order or PayPal. I told her I would use PayPal and she made it clear she wasn't happy with that. I asked her to please send me an invoice for the puppy. She told me no I needed to send it friends and family. I told her my purchase would not be insured that way. She told me I couldn't have the puppy and she would be selling him to someone else because I wouldn't send the money friends and family. I asked for a contract if she couldn't do the invoice and agreed to send the money the way she wanted if I had a contract. She refused and would no longer communicate with me. She is either evading taxes or she is a scammer trying to sell puppies that she never intends on sending. I don't know but this was such a horrible experience and so heartbreaking that I needed to leave this review to protect others. This is the first negative review I have ever written online and I am 42 years old. But I felt this was a very serious situation that needed to be addressed. I would have been paying her $1075.00 for this puppy. If I sent it by check or friends and family through PayPal, I would have no ability to get my money back. read more
