I tried the traditional 60-minute massage. I didn't get a chance to try the hot stones, but I noticed they are available. The staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. After the massage, they offered complimentary drink options that were not limited to bottled water. That was a very nice touch. One thing I thought was unique, and absolutely enjoyed, was being able to choose the music during the massage. They have Alexa available, so you can ask it to play whatever type of music you like. I chose reggae jazz, which created an almost island-style mood for the appointment. In all the years I've treated myself to massages, this was the first time I had experienced that. The office is located at the corner of Long Pond and English Roads, and shares space with other businesses. There is a small stairwell to climb to get to the office, and they are appointment only. Ashley is a caring practitioner, asking about any medical issues and what areas you'd like to focus on during your massage. I saw her this past weekend for a 90 minute lavender sugar scrub massage, which was as relaxing as it sounds. I actually drifted off during it. She worked out some extreme tension in my neck and shoulders, and though I was slightly sore the next day in those areas, I feel fantastic now! We chatted briefly before my session and went over any issues I was dealing with. Instead of giving me the same old boring massage, he actually listened to me and concentrated on my trouble areas. They're rated 5 stars for good reason!…read more A few weeks ago, I was running on the treadmill and turned my head to stretch a bit. One of my first runs of the year. About an hour after the workout, I was tight and in pain in my neck...left side. I sat all day thinking it would calm and go away and it didn't. By the end of the day, I was using my entire body to turn my head. Strange enough, the exact same thing happened last year while running on the canal path with a girlfriend. It was one of my first runs of the year, we were chatting along our run, and I would look over every now and then during the run. After that run, I had an awful pain and tightness that wouldn't go away. Last year, I contacted an LMT to try to work out the pain (& what I thought was a knot). Unfortunately, that LMT wasn't able to rid of the pain and she referred me to a Chiro. I ended up going to that Chiro twice weekly, for about 6-8 weeks. After hundreds of dollars to the Chiro, I felt better. THIS YEAR, when the exact same thing happened on the OTHER side of my neck, I headed to Yelp to find a different LMT and see if this could be worked out thru massage instead of the Chiro. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! Bob used a soft tissue technique and worked on my upper shoulder and neck area the entire hour. That did it. Bob did it! He was able to find the pain and heal me. No miracles happening, just pure competence in his profession. I am SO impressed and I'm happy to refer them.

I was in serious pain when I came in, but left feeling virtually pain free. Her massage is therapeutic as well as relaxing. Another great bonus is that Kristen sends you home with stretches to do at home. In a recent visit she did some stretching of the fascia which felt so good. I left feeling like I was walking on air! I understand that with alot of clients, one can become confused but that is why I think it would've been helpful for her to write down notes after each session to remind herself what she had done to help me and how I'm progressing if her memory is that weak. If I am investing my money into coming to get treatment, I except that the professional I am paying remembers who I am after my third session and is able to fix a simple issue such as a kink in the neck earlier than three 45 min sessions.

I went to use a gift certificate that apparently cant be…read moreused with specific people that actually work in their business but "arent affiliated with them".... even though the deposit of my gift certificate went through on their website and thats where I booked the appt. When I showed up for my appt they told me I cant use the gift certificate and turned around and took $5 off the total of my gift certificate and they called it a "processing fee" None of what they said made sense and this is obviously not the first time this situation has occured. What was supposed to be the cutest gift and relaxing time ended up being an unnecessary headache. Do not recommend!!!!
