Conveniently located in Bushnell's Basin, lots of parking in a private lot and easy access to the building itself. Small two room spa that has soft playing music, calming smells and a clean, pleasant atmosphere to relax in. Toby, my massage therapist, specializes in pregnancy massage and is truly a miracle worker. Calming and thorough each time I've gone for my hour massage (I've gone twice now) I've left feeling very relaxed thankfully because I've had some stress and swollen ligaments throughout my whole body. Cost is $85 plus tip which is about on par with the area cost of other massage locations. I would recommend Toby's massage services to anyone. read more

Joanne gave me one of the most effective massages I've ever had for relieving neck and shoulder pain. She communicated so well to make sure that the pressure was comfortable for me, and she adjusted her methods (i.e. adding cupping and stones) as she found knots. I went to Journey Massage today for a couples' massage based on a recommendation from a good friend of mine. It was my first experience getting a professional massage and as such, I was unsure of what to expect- Joanne and her staff welcomed my significant other and I immediately as we entered her office and made us feel right at home. They were thorough and patient with us and answered all our questions, even going out of the way to explain the process to us before we got started. The absolute best massage in Rochester! Don't be fooled by the fact they are in an office complex, they've transformed their space into a lovely and relaxing zone. The masseuses are all very attentive to your specific needs and I swear they are wizards or have x-ray vision or something! I had a specific knot in my back that she worked at for a good 5 minutes, until she was finally able to release it by going through my armpit, of all things (she told me beforehand what she was going to do because it was a little awkward!). These ladies know their stuff. They always have monthly specials on their website and I've seen them on Groupon, too. I won't go anywhere else in Rochester. read more

Thank you Joanne for an outstanding experience on Saturday. My best friend came up for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Luckily, Joanne had an opening for us. Not only was the massage relaxing but Joanne had made some great recommendations on how do a few stretches for posture but most importantly worked on my leg very gently in an area where i had several surgeries. This is by far one of THE BEST massages I have ever had. Joanne really knows what she is doing. I got the Aromatherapy Massage with Hot Stones. In the past I haven't really enjoyed hot stone massages, well this one sure changed my mind. Joanne knew exactly how to use the stones along side, rather than instead of, regular deep tissue massage techniques. And the electric stones had a consistently comfortable temperature rather than transitioning from too hot to too cold like the standard stones. Will I be back? YOU BET!
