Note about Wi-Fi in Buenos Aires: The Wi-Fi in Buenos Aires is not as fast (and not as reliable) as the Wi-Fi found in typical coffee shops in the United States and in Europe. Thus, I do not make bad reviews based on slow wi-fi which is very common here. Upshot: A solid coffee shop to go to in Palermo soho. Full city is a modern looking cafe with 7 tables and 2 couches. They serve hot food (like omelettes, pastries) and coffee/espresso drinks. I loved their coffee. They are famous for their 20 hour cold brewed coffee which is very sweet (but balanced), creamy and refreshing. It was so delicious and so much better quality than the version at Cafe Lattea. The cortado was strong and smooth - one of the best I've had. The waitress also recommended the cafe con leche. I didn't try the food but the pastries didn't look to appetizing. I would definitely recommend stopping here for coffee if you are in Palermo! read more

I'm not sure if it was my lack of real breakfast food options or the nice servers, but this place left me wanting more. I would have come back here every morning if I had the time to before work! I got the french toast and it was so light and fluffy. The OJ was also delicious! They have a nice outside sitting area and they do have wifi, but it's not always the greatest. HOW CUTE IS THIS COFFEE SHOP! I really loved this place. My husband and I were on a tight schedule this day so we were just going to swing by for coffee to go but it was such a cool spot that we decided to hang for a bit. The staff here gives a great first impression ascetically but also with the staff. They were so helpful, fun and kind. I ordered a latte and didn't love it at first but went back and they helped by adding some milk. The staff also helped us be tourists and took some polaroids for us. We had fun chatting with them. There are usually a lot of people working/studying so it's also a chill place to come if you need to focus (with wifi of course). When I was on vacation in Buenos Aires in 2016, Full City Coffee House was that place. The coffee is pretty good and they have a solid menu of breakfast/lunch plates and pastries. Full City was a comfortable place to read the news, read email messages and check for local sites to check out for the day. The service is friendly, and were happy to converse with me in English if my high school level gringo Spanish was failing me. Food and coffee were served in a timely manner. I would've loved to try this place, with its great reviews and local fame. All information online and including etched on the door itself indicates that they close at 8pm on Mondays. Upon arriving at 6:25pm, I was welcomed by stacked chairs and one employee mopping the floor. He came to the door to inform me that they close at 6pm on Mondays. It would be nice if this were reflected on the information available, instead of having to find out once you are there at the door. The worst thing however was when another person who arrived seconds after me inquiring on whether they were closed or open, was offered something to go by the very same employee that spoke to me. Inconsistency in customer service is a very regrettable thing, and even more so in a situation like this one. A very unfortunate experience. read more

I've been going to Full City for a long time. Yesterday I had a chat with the owner giving him my feedback about two things, one is the service of the food which it takes a long time sometimes and another it's not consistence with the presentation. Alan, the owner, didn't like to hear the feedback so he was constantly defensive about how "perfect" the menu is and for him there's no problem with people waiting for the food. He told me he doesn't have two people in the kitchen and people should understand about that. I was surprise about his attitude but at the same time I said, take it or leave it. This afternoon I went to the cafe to get a coffee and muffin. His attitude wasn't friendly and I knew he was uneasy. I apologised about sharing my feedback but all I wanted is for the cafe to do better, after all, I love going there. Once again I said, take it or leave it. THEN HE STARTED TELLING WHAT HIS STAFF SAY ABOUT ME, I was in shock! He said "look at yourself how you're reacting". This isn't about me, it was about an honest feedback. I've never had the intention to hurt him. Most of my friends know that I always spoke well about Full City, I've invited many friends and I didn't even get a "thank you" for sharing my thoughts. Even one of the employer feel the same way I feel. Won't go back again to this place unfortunately. A man who gets so angry and bitter about people's feedback is appalling and then turn around to tell what the staff say about me is childish and immature. My feedback was on his business and his reaction was a personal attack on me. I feel stupid that I've spent so much time and money in a cafe where the owner isn't humble or lack of gratitude with customers that share their thoughts. Too much ego and stubbornness. I am sitting at Full City Coffee House as we speak, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the best cafe latte I have had thus far in Buenos Aires. I came in yesterday after having read some reviews on Yelp, and two cafe lattes & two arepas later, and I was beyond hooked. I had the lovely delight of sitting outside at one of their little tables, and wound up staying chatting with my friendly neighbor at the other table. The inside of full city is very reminiscent of a coffee shop I'd find in my home city of Denver- exposed brick, funky artwork, small yet cozy vibe, and best of all, incredible baristas who make not only delicious but also beautiful lattes! That is an art form in and of itself, and Full City, it is all very much appreciated! Thanks for making my mornings here in BA a little more deliciously exciting. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I don't care how good your coffee is, you are still a cafe. People are welcome to just order a coffee and sit there for hours chatting, reading or studying. I came to this cafe and ordered a beverage, sat upstairs doing homework on my computer for 1 hour. I was the ONLY customer upstairs. The server came back at least 3 times to ask if I needed anything else and I said "no thank you i'm good" When he came back the 4th time I asked him- "Sorry, whats the problem, are you closing?" He told me I needed to leave if I was just ordering a drink and that I could go use the bookstore if I just needed wifi. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and should NOT be in customer service. Cafe's are for people that want to drink something and work or talk to a friend, or whatever they want to do. I would have completely understood his point if it were a busy restaurant or someone was waiting for a table, but I was literally the only person there and he told me I had to leave. Horrible energy! Me and a couple others had been intermittently ordering when the waiter approached us and asked if we were going to order anything else. We replied maybe in a bit and we asked if we could stay and he said, "for a bit." His service before that had been rude as well. Unfortunately, the service at Full City Coffee House leaves quite a bit to be desired. I was with a group of 5 friends and we had just sat down, ordered coffees and shakes, and were doing some work on our laptops when we were asked to move our items to the upper floor (which is unfinished, and without enough seats to accommodate us). I understand a business's desire keep tables open for new customers, but we had been in the shop for 20 minutes and there were plenty of open tables. Additionally, other customers had been in the shop for longer than us and were sitting with finished food and drinks at their tables. When the worker approached us, I hadn't even had the chance to finish my coffee. I'm really disappointed to say that I won't be going back to Full City, especially considering that other people seem to have enjoyed their experiences there. There seems to be some inconsistency on their policy for doing work, especially when they provide wifi and others have sat and worked.
