They were really encouraging and helpful! The party room was not huge, but definitely had a fun, lively atmosphere! There was also a parents night out/kids event in the other rink which is smaller. Yes, they have two rinks! I will definitely be bringing my daughter next time!

Wow. What a great place. I almost don't want to write this review and gatekeep this spot for fear…read morethat it'll be swamped by crowds, but honestly everyone should know about it! It's a great place to skate for all ages, from tiny tots (who they have small ice walkers for) to college students (who they have free ice skate rentals for on Tuesday's at 7) to adults (great date idea if at least one of you has firm footing on ice). We went on Tuesday as College Night attendees, and luckily for us, it was also Taco Tuesday!! Val, one of the guys working the Rinkside Cafe, makes birria tacos and they're absolutely delicious. Completely surpassed my expectations for an ice rink cafe taco for sure. Warm, cheesy, umami delight. A huge reward after falling on the freezing cold ice while sliding around on skates. The veggie taco is also pretty good; a nice complement to all the heavier dairy and meat. Definitely come check this place out, both for the recreation and for the food!

This place is easily one of the best university gyms I've been to! It's got everything you need -…read moregreat equipment, plenty of space, and a really motivating atmosphere. Plus, the recent renovations have made it 10x better. Props to whoever designed the setup - they really thought it through! There are actually two gym buildings, so you've got options depending on what you're looking to do. There's also a pool if you're into swimming, and if you need a run, there's a track nearby. They covered all the bases when putting this place together. One thing I really appreciate is that they let the students run the music - and they crank it. It definitely adds to the vibe, and it's nice to hear that the younger generation appreciates some good old '90s and 2000s music. I just hope no one complains one day and gets it shut down because that would totally kill the atmosphere. Most of the gym-goers here are polite and respectful, which makes working out a lot more enjoyable. It's also kind of fun to see all the gym rats checking themselves out in the mirror - definitely adds some character to the place! Like any gym, it definitely has its peak times when it gets pretty packed. But if you go during the quieter hours, it's an absolute oasis for gym rats. The students using this gym are seriously going to miss it when they move on to chain gyms - they don't know how good they have it! Whether you're lifting, doing cardio, swimming, or just trying to stay active, this gym has you covered. Just plan your visit right, and you'll love it!

My roommate would always workout in the hall adjacent to the massive windows. I'd chill more because I had Ballet daily. The pool is fun bc there are fitness classes in the water, joined in on a handful with my former boss. Guys, the gym membership is a mandatory portion of your tuition, so it's totes worth it to participate. Park off-campus, ride yr bike in orrrrr rollerblade. Makes life simple.

I saw baseball and soccer practices, pick up games on the courts, dog walkers, stroller moms, all the usual community park participants. The playground is small and aimed at toddlers but kids will play anywhere there's a slide or stuff to climb on. The grounds were clean and well manicured. One star off for broken bathroom stalls. Also the flowering bushes planted outside the bathrooms attracted tons of bees, which is great! Unless you put them right next to the playground. Terrible horticulture planning IMO.

The park is beautifully maintained - clean, with nice short grass, decent bathrooms, and good resting and picnicking spots. It's so convenient for a pleasant walk to and from the Camino Real Marketplace - no need to go along busy streets. This is a great park for dogs - lots of space to walk on-leash, hang out on a blanket, or play off-leash fetch. My pup and I also appreciate that they provide dog bags and have plenty of trash cans along the walkway. The park seems very safe. For a year I came here at night with one or two other women, to work out on the basketball court, and we never ran into any trouble. There are also some fun events here - local craft fairs from time to time, and of course the Lemon Fest. Enjoy!
