This was the worst and most…read morepainful dental experience I have ever experienced post-procedure for days afterward because I needed a root canal. The dentist did not know that I needed a root canal. I agreed to have a bridge done on my lower right molars. After the temporary bridge was implanted, the back molar needed an emergency root canal which was was done by an endodontist days later after the temporary bridge was implanted. The pain and suffering that I was experienced prior to the root canal/post procedure of the temporary bridge was excruciating. The pain was throbbing in my tooth that lasted days until I had to get a root canal to remove the pain. The dentist and assistant at Smiles told me that the pain would "go away" after a couple of days. So, I waited for the pain to go away. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, pain medication didn't work and I could hardly get through my work at my job. Therefore, I had to get an emergency root canal with a different endodontist before the permanent bridge was implanted. Then, when the permanent bridge came in to replace the temporary, the permanent bridge did not fit. So, the dentist made another bridge. Finally, they put the permanent bridge in. I asked for a partial refund for the pain and suffering, as I have spent a lot of money on this procedure as well as prior procedures in the past. The dentist and upper management at Smiles are aware of the pain and suffering that I went through due to the dentist not knowing that I needed a root canal. The dentist and dentist's assistant told me that the pain from the tooth that was grinded to close to the nerve would "go away." I'll never go back. They don't know what they're doing.
