They did not even mention a cleaning (which I was due for). Grand total $4,500. Of course they magically had an opening to do the prep that same visit, but not for a cleaning. $$$ for the work vs $ for the cleaning. They act like they are doing you a favor. On top of that they do ridiculous tests and x-rays that are not covered by insurance. For my child's visit: $115 for fluoride $46 for oral hygiene instructions $129 for a saliva sample (wtf?) $400 x-rays that are not covered And for the wisdom teeth to come out even though there are no roots and they are not affecting her teeth. If you still choose to go after reading this- get a second opinion. Another corporate practice just looking for money.

I was told by the office manager in no uncertain terms that 5 fillings were completely covered by my dental insurance. I questioned her on this because she had previously told me it wasn't covered. She said let me double check, and while I was busy Tending to another matter, she either called or checked on the computer and came back to me and said yes it's 100% covered. After the procedure was completed, as I was exiting the office the office manager stopped me and told me I had a healthy balance, which surprised me as she had just told me I was completely covered. She stated That I had signed a paper that said I was liable for the cost if the insurance company denied the claim. I was totally confused. She had just told me that it was 100% covered, And she had just verified it. Since I am retired and on a fixed income, I am counting every penny. I made arrangements for them to charge my credit card $10 a month until the balance was paid off. It's just plain shoddy business, but to make matters worse the owner of the practice Jack Rosenberg, when I was sitting in the chair get right up in my face and lectured me about how he went to dental school to practice dentistry and not insurance management , he's very possibly could be a good dentist however his chairside manner and diplomacy, which by the way Dr Rosenberg, is part and parcel of being a "good dentist" needs some polishing!

The staff was rude and dismissive, hiding behind "office policy" and "private business" excuses. Ironically, in all my years here, I have never canceled or been late, yet I have often waited past my scheduled time. I asked for Dr. Lein to call me directly and never received a call. This experience made one thing clear. Loyalty means nothing here and transparency is optional.
