As someone exploring bankruptcy for the first time, I expected the consultation to be more informative and guided. Instead, I felt like I was expected to know exactly what questions to ask, which defeats the purpose of seeking a consultation in the first place. One of the main reasons I contacted this firm was because their website suggests they assist with student loan issues. Unfortunately, I left the consultation without receiving any meaningful guidance on that topic or on my overall financial situation. What made the experience more disappointing was that I later had a consultation with another bankruptcy firm that lasted about 45 minutes. They took the time to understand my circumstances, explain my options, and answer questions I didn't even know to ask. The difference was night and day. When I requested a refund, it was denied.
