The Fuller Center is an amazing foundation of community support. Our business was completely devastated by Hurricane Ida. With the coordination of volunteer help from Jim Killoran, Steve Biolsi and the rest of the Fuller Center staff we were able to make an incredible comeback in record time. We are now 100% open and back in business stronger than ever. We couldn't have made such a miraculous and speedy recovery if it weren't for God putting us on a beautiful collision course with all the wonderful people and volunteers associated with the Fuller Center. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. It is now the Fuller Center for Housing instead of Habitat. The selection of furnishings is extensive and well-organized. The pricing is very good. I was not there to buy anything, however. I wanted to schedule a pickup of a large wooden (heavy) armoire. I, like others, have found it hard to get through via phone so I went to the store. I talked with Jiya, the ReUse Store Floor Manager. She was completely amazing. She was very responsive and had the piece picked up within two days. I was blown away by the service and how easy the whole experience was. I highly recommend that anyone who has been there in the past (when it was Habitat) and been unhappy to try it again. They have always been nice and helpful, before when they were Habitat and now that they are Fuller. We have donated things to them over the years and bought things from them as well. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the sketchy stock, which is really not their fault. Some of the items are too expensive, but most are well priced. Going there again next week to donate some things, and who knows? maybe buy something. read more

I have to agree with the reviewer who indicated that donating here is frustrating at best, its like trying to win the lottery. I have called several times, even sent photos and got intermittent and limited response. I finally walked in and found the manager who gave me her card and said they would like the items based on a photo I had. Then I called and she never responded. What is wrong with these people. Don't waste my time I'll donate to someone who can benefit and who knows how to relate to customers in a professional way. VERY disappointing. read more

If you are wanting to donate items here, it's best to bring them in yourself. I've tried to call this place numerous times to donate building supplies, large pieces of furniture, bathroom fixtures and loads of other things that I could not fit in my car and I've NEVER gotten a call back. So that's very discouraging because the items are in good condition and could really be useful to someone in need or just wanting to renovate more cheaply. (My contractors would just as soon pitch things into a dumpster...) There is a truck for pick up but I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET INFORMATION ON IT. In my experience going to the store, it is fairly chaotic in its organization, parking can be nightmarish, and help is not terribly knowledgeable. Still, I persist. I was there earlier this week and specifically asked how I get a truck to my house to pick up donations. Harvey told me to send him an email with photos of what I wanted to donate and he'd get back to me. He even said to put the email to his attention and gave me a postcard with ReStore information. Nothing. Very disappointed. Went in today and spoke with Harvey who said - we can pick up today. I go home and wait, wait, wait. One hour before they finish up for the day, they arrive!!! So, I'm happy that all these large pieces will be reused and Habitat will benefit, but I'm unhappy that it was so difficult to get this done! Don't be fooled by this place. Although there are some decent items, most of it is junk. They want you to believe that they help veterans but they only help themselves. The " workers" are former addicts and worse. They cannot be trusted. They rip people off and they have a shady guy hanging around to deliver items for you. For a hefty price. Habitat denies having anything to do with this guy. If you buy anything there, at your own peril, pick it up yourself. Better yet, but NOTHING at this place! read more

Although I attempted 4 times (via telephone) to reach somebody to arrange a drop-off of 8 bankers boxes of quality household items (including 2 sets of dishes, silverware, glasses, Lladro porcelain figurines and other decorative items) nobody answered the phone nor did they return the 2 messages that I left. So much for donating to Habitat. I guess these items will go to a thrift store or to a local charity. read more

I got a nice little shelf there for $10. I had a pleasant exchange with a high school student working there perhaps as a volunteer. I would highly recommend donating and shopping there. read more
