We contacted Fuller Paving about paving our driveway in Johnson City, TN in May of 2024. Evan came out and gave us an estimate on May 24, 2024, and told us it would be approximately 3 weeks before we could get on their books for the job, and he would contact us. After waiting a month, we contacted Evan, and he stated he was on a job but would get back to us that afternoon. We made several calls to the company after we didn't hear anything from Evan with no follow-up from him or anyone else. As of today, October 8, 2024, we have not received a phone call from anyone at the company. I have to say I was very disappointed that they didn't even have the courtesy to return our phone calls stating if there was a problem. My question is, did they not want to honor their quote, were they too busy for such a small job, etc.? I hope in the future when someone contacts them for a quote, they will at least be courteous enough to follow-up with the customer. read more

I hired Fuller Paving in May 2023 to recap my driveway. Fuller Paving was pretty quick in coming to my house and paving my driveway. Due to the size of my driveway, this was not an inexpensive update to my property. Fuller Paving did the job. Now I have 4 ponds in my driveway that do not drain. These ponds were not in my driveway previously. I have very rough gravel spots in the driveway that also were not their previously. I have called Fuller Paving numerous and too many times. Evan keeps telling me that Fuller Paving will be there on Friday to correct the issues they made. However, I believe Fuller Paving does not have a Friday on their calendar because they have yet to show up. I have called several times but either they are ignoring my calls or they have no office staff. Bottom line: Give your paving money to a business who will do a good job and cares. read more

This experience started out ok. The man that came to do the estimate on my driveway was professional, on time and thorough. He gave me an estimate and I accepted it. Then it went down hill, fast. He told me someone would be in touch to schedule the job, they never called. When I called them weeks later the lady used the ol' "we tried to contact you" excuse. It's 2021, everyone has a cell phone and voicemail, there is no record of this call. She scheduled the job and told me they would be there at 7:30 am unless it rained. Well, it rained and I never heard from the again. I've called 3 times with no return phone call. What a complete waste of time. read more

I'm only giving this a two star review because the young lady in the office was pleasant, in the face of our dissatisfaction. The estimate process went fine. It was only when we tried to schedule an appointment (after waiting several months) to have our driveway done that we ran into issues. We made numerous phone calls in our effort to get on the schedule. They were not returned. The last phone conversation we had with the office, it was made very clear that the schedule was set on Friday evening and we were promised a phone call, with an installation appointment, either on Friday evening or Saturday morning. That phone call was never made. When we saw that they had no intention of doing our driveway, we cancelled the contract. read more

They did not show up on the agreed upon date, they did not call to say would not be coming and they did not answer 15 phone calls to their office. This is a paving company for commercial businesses and do not care about residential customers. I have waited a week after the agreed-upon date. I will be seeking a professional company to seal my driveway. read more

I have a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway. One section of it consistently washed out with our spring and summer thunderstorms, leaving that section almost unnavigable. After re-graveling three times, I decided a better solution was needed. I contacted Fuller, and Joe Robinette, the owner of the company, came out to look at the problem. After some discussion on what was necessary and what I desired, he gave me an estimate on blacktopping 300 feet of the driveway. About a week later, I decided to go ahead with the project, and scheduled Fuller. They showed up and went to work. First they smoothed out the deep gullies. Then they filled the 300 feet with fine gravel. This was smoothed and rolled. After that the blacktop was applied at 320 degrees with a paving machine. The paving machine also rolled and formed the edges and formed a small curb on the side of one portion to guide the water that flowed down the slope onto the driveway. The ends of the paved portion were blended in to the existing gravel driveway. The blacktop portion is at least four inches thick. I think this will probably last! I had decided to extend the paved area by another 30 feet over what Joe and I discussed, but other than that the charge was equal to the estimate. They actually paved another 20+ feet beyond that, but did not charge for it. They even smoothed out the rest of the gravel driveway back to the street. All personnel were friendly and professional. All in all, this was a good experience. read more

Do not contract Fuller Paving for driveway work. Poor workmanship and low quality materials. They paved our driveway in October and it was a botched job . Grey streaks in asphalt, cracks and seams. Unbelievable. They finally came back May 4 for a repair job and it looks the same. We are waiting for round 3, but they are avoiding us. We talked to Joe Robinette and he was very rude on the phone. I don't know how they get any business. . read more
