Don't expect the perfect Japanese ramen here but it is very good. The noodles and broths are made fresh by the team and were very good. I always get tonkatsu, but they just have shio, shoyu, and miso. We tried the shio and miso and both were very good. Neither were too salty. The noodles tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. The pork was very good although could be a bit softer. The gyouza were decent but fresh. They could have been cooked a bit longer, and the sauce was too watered down for my taste. It would be nice if they have normal ramen spoons as the big one is a bit hard to use but I guess they want it to look cool. Overall, it is an excellent ramen spot in Germany. Come here if you are missing ramen. If you haven't tried real Japanese ramen before, come here to check it out (also, it's the perfect remedy for hangovers!).

I've had my fair share of ramen across Asia, the US and here in Germany. I ordered the karaage miso ramen, which to me is a very standard dish. Positives: the karaage (fried chicken) was well done and a decent portion size. Negative: the broth was the biggest culprit. A good ramen broth is flavorful and complex, this was neither. I ordered the miso ramen, which should have a strong soybean taste, but this didn't even taste like miso. It was bland. The second culprit was the noodles. They should be a balance of soft and chewy, and these were almost gooey. Not good. When you walk in, place an order, and they tell you it'll be ready in 5 minutes, that's a warning sign. Good food shouldn't be that fast.

Een paar minuten later kwam er een vrouw naar ons toe, die wij dachten dat zij een van de managers van het restaurant was, en liet ons luid en brutaal voor alle klanten aan onze tafel berispen. Ondanks dat de ober het ongeluk had gezien en wij duidelijk maakten dat het per ongeluk was, vernederde ze ons voor al die klanten. We konden daar geen moment langer blijven; we stonden meteen op, betaalden onze rekening en verlieten het restaurant met tranen in onze ogen. Ik moest dit voorval delen. The food was delicious! We ordered the all you can eat sushi and some drinks. The selection was good, the sushi rolls came out fast and tasted great. The waiters were kind. I had a chance to speak with the owner following the meal. He was a very nice guy. When I'm back in the Netherlands, I will definitely go again. 4 stars.

We only had a few small plates, but what we had was fresh, well prepared and as good or better than any Sushi/dumplings/rolls we've had. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the 2 1/2 hour, 5 course sushi extravaganza. Hope to hit back to NL and will make sure this is one of our stops!
