I saw them handle 2 divers (me and an experienced diver), a smallish group of newbies and 8 first timers. The instructors handled it all. They're experienced divers who know the area and do it the right way. I'm so impressed. Also, after 3 hours of diving, the bar/restaurant was amazing. After eating there the first day, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The food matched the diving. I could hang there all day. If you don't fall in love with that crew and what they do, something's wrong w you :)

They were professional, flexible, efficient and the quality of the lessons were exceptional. My partner (a beginner with experience) had Ron and I (firstimer) has Toto. Ali, the owner was welcoming and very knowledgeable, the shop was clean and organized. I felt completely safe entire time and the lessons felt very exclusive!

However, it"s busy and there are rarely sunbeds available so it's anything goes. This is probably because Filipinos do not like tanning so there are no carved out location for laying out unless you're at a five star resort. So I recommend going, even though it's a bit of a task especially if you're with an elderly relative, but I will definitely stay at a big resort foregoing the convenience of being steps away from the water.

It's considered one of the best beaches in the world(by whatever metric is used). I prefer mountains over beaches but Boracay is legit. I loved it! White Beach is split into 3 stations (Stations 1, 2, and 3). Most people say that station 1 is the busiest and less busy the further south towards station 3 you go. People, sure but the beach is good and I never felt it was crowded anywhere on the beach. There is a landmark that's a bit busy in station 1 and a spot near station 3 where touristy things(boat load ups, etc etc) make it busy but those are easy things to walk around. We spent early morning, mid-day, evenings, and late nights on the beach. We even found our favorite tree/spot to lay our blanket down and chill out. It didn't take long to figure out why this is one of the best beaches in the world. And talk about clean! The locals and tourists alike do a great job of keeping it clean. There are fines for not disposing of your coconuts. No glass allowed on the beach(big fines). Everyone is very mindful of how magical this place is. I was trying to think of why and I think it's because you have the extra step of taking a boat to get to the island. That limits disrespectful people from visiting. The only thing I didn't like which is more of a peeve were some of the locals. It became obvious that the local kids ran around asking tourists for a few pesos. There were usually a couple each day. Some of the kids already have the Filipino hustle instilled in them... they'd at least be creative with it wanting to take your picture or be your guide or give you info. It's so night and day from American kids act in that 5-10 age range. The other issue and I hope locals see this. I don't mind people coming around with their homemade food(because I want to eat it!), but this one old lady had a basket of bananacue. I wanted some. It was cheap enough. Unfortunately, her basket of them was incredibly dry. I couldn't eat it. I compare most beaches to Cocoa Beach and Miami Beach in America. Those beaches are fine but White Beach and Boracay are the clear winners. The beaches in America seem to be missing palm trees on the beach. Boracay has trees built in so it's easy to find shade while being a few steps from the water. No need for big umbrellas to clutter and block out the sun here. White Beach = Incredible.

Several levels of amazing jumps off this island…read more You must pay to get on the island. Its an island hopping adventure from the main Boracay island. So locals, have jumping locations set up throughout the island. The challenge to jump can be intimidating but the excitement of all the people jumping off truly pulls you to want to try. And why not?! I dove off the first 3 platforms. Theres about 5 or 6. As you dive in the blue clear waters of the Philippine sea, you immediately realize how deep it can be sooo make sure you have a plan on which direction to swim. They have nets set up in the area so its a no brainer to swim in that direction. The cost to enter is fairly inexpensive. I believe its only $10, or 500 pesos. Take your friends and just jump!! You wont regret this experience.

This wasn't originally one of the activities on our radar but then we checked with our contact on the beach and it was so cheap that we decided that one of the sunsets would be out on the water. I don't know how it would be in the middle of the day but splashing on the water in the heat would be welcomed. In the evening, there was a nice breeze and the warmth of the sun on the face made it perfect. Both guides were great about taking pictures for us. We didn't even ask; They know people want some shots :-). The only thing to be aware of is the 'net' that you sit on. They aren't nets. More like zip ties. You can manage when you're in a comfortable position but it's not somewhere to sit or lay however you want. You only have a few choices. It's a must activity to do while in Boracay. On the next visit, it'll be something we do again.

They are called Paraw and are described as a double outrigger, which a framework projecting over the side of the boat to stabilized it. .You don't sit is the haul which is vary narrow but on the the nets that is stretched on the outriggers The ride on the water is smooth and brizzy with a few splashes of water you will travel from one end of the island to the other, My guide told us about the key points you can see from the boat while we sailed. The boats are also popular as a romantic or photo taking ride during sunset. You can book online or just get some tickets on the beach at many stores that sell tourist activities, Cost was 750 pesos per person, that is $15 for a one hour ride. The nets can be uncomfortable so I do not recommend it if your body is sensitive to how or what you sit on.

You can have up to two passengers if one cannot drive. Children from 1 to 7 must accompany an adult. Not sure I could take a 1 year old but up to the parent....We were actually picked up close to our hotel but not in our hotel as it's not allowed as hotels will only allow their own tours so be aware. I didn't mind. This tour was a little cheaper. The staff were English speaking and easy to understand all their instructions for their ATV's. Make sure to follow so you won't have to pay any fines. We visited four different spots and it took us about two hours depending on your group and how long you take in each spot. The weather was windy but just humid warm enough for us. The road was mainly 3/4 flat but there is a patch to have off road fun. Too bad it was not wet or raining, I think it would have been more fun on the dirt! At the end of the tour, you will get to see all the professional pictures they took of us. You can order hard copies and digital if you order a certain amount. We also took our own. I am a bit familiar with the shop and have heard of the excellent quality of their services albeit not having experienced it first-hand prior to this trip. I must say that they've met and exceeded my expectations. Our experience with WaterColors was so satisfying that my daughter immediately got bitten by the diving bug.
