My goal was to lose a pound a week and although I have not been keeping up well with the diet/eating portion, I have actually gained 2 pounds of muscle and I'm feeling better than I have in a long time! I'm looking forward to making this my lifestyle. Everyone who works here has been super friendly and supportive too!

If you want to slim down and lose weight, this is definitely a place to be to start a new lifestyle…read moreand a supportive community. Their program works. Here's why: First let me tell you about myself. I am 5.9", Asian, "big boned" and I was 34 years old beginning January 2024 weighing in at 235.3 lbs and 34.5% body fat. At the beginning of 2024, I decided to try a "one meal a day" kind of diet and just build my own workout program by watching YouTube videos. After six months, I weighed around 225.8 lbs and 30.5% body fat. "My program" was "working". Then I saw an ad for XplosivFit and decided to try it out. At the beginning of the program, I was 225.8 lbs and 30.5% body fat. After a month, I am 217.8 lbs and 26.3% body fat. I lost more weight and fat in a month being part of XplosivFit than doing things in my own. Needless to say, their program works so long as you follow through and do the work. My biggest take away is the nutrition. It's a complete 180 from one-meal-a-day (OMAD). I am eating about 4-5 times a day and I'm losing weight. In the program, my average caloric intake per day is 2500 calories. When I was doing OMAD, I was afraid of eating more than 2000 calories a day on average because it would make me gain weight. The workouts are "easy", meaning anyone can do them and they don't do any gimmick-y exercises. The workouts are HIIT-based and I think they're very well thought out in targeting different muscles and the weekly workout splits cover your whole body. They're about 30 minutes long and I burn an average 250 calories according to my smart watch. The most important thing during the workouts is your effort. All you have to do is try and keep moving and you'll make it and see results. My only criticism is that the workouts seem too short and because it is HIIT, it is difficult to lift heavy without sacrificing form so I tend to go lighter on the weights when I'm here. I like to lift heavy so I still do go to my home gym on days I don't go here.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the appointment was confirmed for 7:00 PM, yet upon arrival I was immediately informed by the front desk associate that his shift was over and that no one else was available to assist me. The interaction itself also came across in a way that made me feel like my time and appointment were not valued as dismissive and unprofessional, rather than solution-oriented or apologetic. Terry was my initial point of contact, I am unsure why an appointment would be scheduled at a time when there was no staff available to actually conduct the tour. Overall, this was a complete waste of my valuable time and a very poor first impression.

I also love that it's a private gym--never overcrowded, so you get a much more personal and focused experience. The entire space is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed for both fitness and recovery.

That's how I discovered Revision--a gym and wellness center, just four minutes from my office. I immediately signed up for a month-long membership, which includes unlimited access to all of their wellness technologies. I started with BEMER, then added LightStim (a powerful red and infrared LED light therapy that reduces inflammation and speeds tissue repair), and today I tried localized cryotherapy, which delivers deeply cooling air to reduce pain and swelling right where you need it. The staff has been nothing but amazing--warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They've taken the time to walk me through each device and how it supports my recovery. I genuinely cannot wait until I'm healed enough to start using their gym, too. This place is an absolute gold mine. I'm so glad I found it, and I truly couldn't be happier.

Down 30 lbs, zero injuries, feeling like a new person…read more Ok so I don't really write reviews but I have to for these guys. I've tried so many things in the Woodland Hills / West Hills area -- gyms, personal trainers, group classes -- and honestly nothing ever clicked. Then I found Impact One and it's just been a totally different story. When I walked in back in December 2025 I was kind of a mess. Recovering from a shoulder injury, dealing with plantar fasciitis, just not in a great place physically. Four months later? Down close to 30 pounds, shoulder feels great, and the plantar fasciitis is like 70 to 90% better. And I didn't pick up a single new injury along the way. That part still blows my mind. I feel strong. Like actually strong. And my energy is through the roof -- I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this good. The biggest reason this works is the team. Ali, Micah, Thomas, and Jorge -- these guys aren't just trainers, they're legit experts. They really understand the body. Every single session they're watching how you move, checking in on how you're feeling, and adjusting things on the fly based on what your body can handle that day. When I came in with my shoulder and my foot issues, they didn't just say "ok we'll go easy." They actually knew how to program around my injuries so I could still make serious progress without making anything worse. That kind of knowledge is really hard to find. And beyond the expertise, they're just genuinely supportive people. They make you feel like they're in your corner. It's not rah-rah fake motivation -- they actually care about your results and they pay attention to the details. The programming itself is also next level. There's a real methodology behind everything, not just random workouts. But it's the combination of smart programming plus trainers who deeply know what they're doing that makes this place special. I've been around the block with fitness out here. These guys are the best I've found and it's not even close. If you're on the fence just go.

Crunch fitness, athletic society (now crunch) equinox, speakeasy, and golds gym. This is BY FAR the WORST gym out of all of them. Any other 24 hour fitness is superior to this one, and so are all the other gyms. They don't clean, they don't even provide plastic bags that are supposed to be provided per their own sign in men's locker. Nothing to dry wet clothes. No towel service.!Scale in bathroom is not calibrated which I brought to attention of worker who just smiled and waved it off as if that isn't a major problem for people who depend on the scales.. Machines are broken with no fix signs. NO SIDE RAISE MACHINES. The freaking benches aren't even fully adjustable. It's either flat or inclined. Dumbbells have different handles for same weight (are you guys not a huge corporation, you can't afford it?) AND they keep raising prices and have also introduced late fees that tack on immediately (no other gym does this as far as I know). In conclusion; I'll be taking photos/videos for evidence of everything I can that's wrong with the gym and will be forwarding that to corporate in hopes it reaches shitty management. -Mussa EDIT: sending a cleaning crew doesn't solve the main issues I mentioned. Bring back the clothes dryers, plastic bags, towel service and the name 24 hour fitness. And get some adjustable benches.
