Dr. Tim tried two procedures, an Epidural and a Nerve Block and although I didn't have any relief he didn't throw opioids at me which others had done. He made a referral to a neurosurgeon and I have an appointment in September. They were all helpful and professional. I had been to two other pain clinics and this was by far the best. When you do repeated injections in the painful area and it doesn't help, he tries to shame you into continuing the injections anyway. If he had bothered to review my prior MRI or order a new MRI (and any good practitioner would have), he would have found that it was referred pain from a severe back problem that can't be fixed with injections and requires surgery. My advice is to try somewhere else that isn't just a needle-jockey mill.

After a car accident which resulted in 6 back surgeries, I ended up at Javery after trying a few…read moreother pain clinics. I did not have a problem with the care received or the MD's or PA's, it was their "policies". After my 2nd spinal fusion, I was on 4 different narcotics which I never abused, yet was still insignificant pain. Obviously depression and anxiety go along with that and I began to abuse alcohol to cope. I decided to go to a 30 day in-patient rehab to deal with that and while I was there, the doctors weened me off of the 3 opiates and put me on Suboxone AFTER calling Javery's office and asking them if they supported that, which they said they "did" which the doctor there understood to mean that they would continue to prescribe Suboxone for me going forward. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled with Javery prior to going to rehab but I did not receive a reminder call prior, so I called the office and was told "oh, you should have received a letter, but unfortunately you have violated the pain management agreement and we discharged you as a patient". That left me scrambling to find a physician who had the special DEA license to prescribe Suboxone which at the time was rather limited compared to now (I actually had to contact the doctor at that rehab for 2 months after leaving there for there the Rx's until I was able to find another one.)

She's so kind and to have someone fully listen to my concerns is a breath of fresh air. I truly feel she has my back and is willing to run the distance for me to make sure I'm as healthy as possible. The location couldn't be any better as well! I'm actually excited to start my health journey for a change. :) Front Desk clerks were very kind and informative. The nurse was gracious and caring.
