Meet the Business Owner: Angie S.

Owner, Angie Smith, has 14 years of running a quality childcare center. High quality has always been her vision for her centers. Her first school was awarded National Accreditation in her first year, which was a high honor. After 13 years, the hard decision to close that school was made through much prayer. As always though, when God closes one door, he opens another. Funfield Learning Cottage was opened in January 2015 with the same high standards and was awarded with their first Quality Rated Star in January 2016. The main reason running a good center is important to her is Angie's a mom of two grown daughters who didn't have that choice as a child. Now that she's blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, it's even more important! Moms need a place to feel safe leaving their children with no worries, so they can concentrate on what they have to do. While Angie is not working on her center, she enjoys walking on new trails with her husband, and loving life with her family!
