We had over 20 kids ages 5 through 10 & it was very entertaining even for us adults. Matt is fantastic! My oldest daughter saw him at 2 or 3 different parties in a row, and that was ALL she wanted for her 5th birthday (in 2016). I hadn't seen him perform yet, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we hired him anyway. The first thing I said after the show was: "We're having him back when our younger daughter is old enough!" Sure enough, he performed this past weekend (Feb. 2019) for our younger daughter's 6th birthday. The kids love him, but the show is enjoyable for the adults, as well. Definitely laugh out loud moments, and the reaction he gets from the little ones is just priceless! As a side note, Matt is very responsive and easy to work with, and he gets back to email questions very quickly. I think I changed the actual show time twice leading up to the party, and he was always willing to accommodate. Then when he arrived, the balloon guy was still getting to all the kids, so Matt delayed his show by about 20 minutes so each kid could get a balloon animal. He came early to set up, and then waited patiently until we were ready. All in all, I've had two great experiences. I can't recommend Matt highly enough! read more

This is the second summer we had Funny Magic For Kids come to our school to put on a show for our students ages 2-6. The show kept children of all ages entertained from start to finish. When my daughter said she wanted a magician, I knew immediately who to call because we had hired Matt in 2014 for her 6th birthday and the kids were crazy for him! I have always thought that being a magician at parties would be a very difficult gig. You have to be prepared to entertain the whole family, keep people's attention, and keep everyone, especially very observant kiddos, amazed and guessing as to how you do what you do. Matt is amazing! We had him at my daughter's 5th birthday after seeing him perform for an event the year prior - he was so good, I think it was the only time I managed to save a flier for a year.
