My "girls" love going to see Heather at Fur Tamers! Our Ms. Mollie B has been going to Heather since she was 5 months old and now she's pushing 15! I also use Branson Vets and between them both she has been giving the best of care! Heather also holds a position at the Vet's and always when our Ms Mollie has to have something done Heather is always there to be with her! Ms Mollie absolutely loves Heather! when both girls, Sorcha (she's our wild one and a Shih Tzu and just turned 3) really gives them, Heather and the other groomers, a run for there money! When they are out and about I ALWAYS get such lovely compliments on them and how pretty they are And the "smell" so good! Nope I didn't do it, it was her "hairdresser"! All the ladies are very professional but my girls are very spoiled, they only let Heather do them! Ms Mollie and Sorcha have been given very professional and excellent grooming. If ever there is something special I need they are always willing to do it! I wish I could post pictures of them and you could check them out and see. As they, seeing is believing! She went in for a cut and nail trim and just looked like she only had a bath. Nails were still long. Not on our list of pet groomers anymore. I do think it depends on who does your dog. Someone is good and someone needs a lot of training! read more

We've been taking our 3 pups to Fur Tamers for years! Tennille and Tyra do an awesome job of providing excellent grooming services for our pets. Always very professional, caring, and easy to schedule. When we get them back they look and smell great! We won't go anyplace else. If you're looking for a great groomer I would highly recommend Fur Tamers to you!! (P.S. My mother taught me that if you can't say something nice, then you should just be quiet. TERRIBLE experience too! I took my 11 week old mini Goldendoodle in to Fur Tamers to get his face trimmed and nails cut. They said they would trim his face to get him used to the clippers.... okay, sounds good to me. I dropped off an adorable little puppy. When I went to pick him up, I was completely dumbfounded. My cute little puppy was not so cute anymore! They literally just shaved his face (down to the skin by the way) from his nose up to between his eyes and did nothing else with the rest of his face, literally nothing! They also did the same thing to his butt area, took the clippers and did one maybe two swipes up. When my brother came over to see him, he immediately asked 'What happened? He looks terrible.' I have been trying to cut his hair myself to make him look better. Absolutely disgusted and would never recommend Fur Tamers to anyone.....BEWARE! read more

I got a rehomed Pomeranian who was a mass of fur and right away took him to a groomer and he came back flawless and beautiful. But I knew Fur Tamers from my deceased dog so next time took my 'new to me' Pom to them. He came out looking horrible and I went back a few days later and carefully explained the issues. Next one is free. Fast forward 5 weeks and bring him in again. He comes out with choppy fur, squared off at the top paws, he is scratching and scratching and his tail is full of static electricity. I was upset but remained calm. In the car I called the original groomer to get an appt. to see if she could fix any of the choppy cutting. I hadn't realized that grooming a Pom called for a high degree of expertise. I wrote a big review on Google and they answered saying they hoped I could find the perfection I was looking for! Don't make this about some unattainable perfection to disguise your being inadequate as a groomer. I happen to have a gorgeous unique 'movie star' looking dog whose fur got cut way too short plus uneven. When JaimeB said in his(?) review that his dog's butt area got shaved off close to the skin I know exactly who did that because she did that to my dog also. read more

My pups love coming to this salon! They always leave smelling fresh and they're done in a reasonable amount of time. They never rush me to come pick them up if I'm at work, just alert me that they are ready! read more

TERRIBLE experience. I took my miniature schnauzer to petco for years and they always did a good job. 7 weeks ago I brought home the cutest puppy, a Giant schnauzer. I took him to Branson veterinary hospital for his vaccinations and decided to try the salon next to the vet, Fur Tamers salon. BIG MISTAKE. My 2 dogs came out with an UNACCEPTABLE cut. The first thing I said when I dropped them off was please leave the schnauzer face and trim them short. NOT SHAVED( on my miniature ) and on my Giant, please don't do anything on his head, just from neck down because he has a foam block on his ears ( cropped ears). With the same instructions, short NOT SHAVED. Both dogs were shaved down to bare skin. SHAVED to skin between their eyebrows, shaved them to the skin on their chest, the back, all over. They left almost no hair at all. It is awful. This is the worst job of grooming I've seen in my life. ( they look like xoloescuincle dogs not like a schnauzer). read more

I made an appt on a Monday for the next Wednesday before 9 (as requested) When my daughter got there with the 2 dogs, NO RECORDS could be found for either one - BOTH had been in previously. They finally condescended to take the dogs even tho they had no appt for them!? Irritating to begin with - poor record keeping - VERY poor attitude towards the customer when it was THEIR mistake! Terrible experience! I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance for 10:00 am on a Saturday. I dropped off my dog at the time scheduled and asked how long it would be. Aaron told me it would be about 2 hours. I said I would be back at noon, but if she is ready before then to call me. Aaron agreed. I arrived back to pick up at noon. I told Aaron I am here to pick up Daisy. He asked me which dog it was, so I had to remind him. He then tells me he hadn't even started on her yet but that she is next. He then began to tell me that just because an appointment was made does not mean that that is when they begin working on your dog. I told him I can' wait anymore, that I would leave with her now, and that I was very upset with how it was handled. As I was walking out the door, Aaron said "ok, thank you and don't come back!". I stopped and told him he was very rude. He said I was being rude to him. I said I made an appointment 3 weeks ago. What is the point in making an appointment if you don't honor it? He then said he was not in charge of his schedule book. I began to leave and he, again, said "thank you and don't come back". I highly recommend avoid working with Aaron. He was rude, unprofessional, and clearly did not care about the business's reputation. I hope this review reaches an owner or manager as there are some major employee issues. read more

This is the BEST Fur baby salon in town! Heather is absolutely fantastic with my furry kids. She is so kind and helpful. Kole gets so excited when I tell him he is going to see Miss Heather and now Bella is going to start visiting her too and is just as excited.
