Unprofessional behavior, poor representation, little communication, she would give advice and then she would get angry with me for taking it. Then deny giving it to begin with. This was our first real conversation after two months of silence, and he opened it by calling my son insane and the messages "awful," showing zero understanding of mental illness. At the plea hearing, he never once mentioned Casey's bipolar disorder or the manic episode. Instead, he told the judge it was "the stress of being an Amazon driver" -- ignoring the actual, documented medical evidence we gave him. That felt like a dagger to the heart.
