January 9, 2026 7:55 p.m. This night I received a return call from the Corpus Christi Furniture Row store to an email I made a couple days prior regarding a tear in the Wicklow recliner (cost $2,200) we purchased from this store about two and a half years ago. We purchased this chair along with the matching couch ($3,500). These items were represented as being the best, highest quality furniture sold by Furniture Row, and would last a long time. Something both my wife and I mentioned as a priority for selection. Both items were exchanged within a month of purchase because of defects Not a good start. The replacement chair had an area of about 5" in diameter in the front left side of the sitting area of the chair that was rough compared to the rest of the chair. I was told it was the character of the leather. Now, two years later the leather in that area is thin, cracked and has developed a small tear while the rest of the chair is in very good condition. Since, in my opinion, this was a defect in the chair's material, I thought there would be a remedy available through Furniture Row since it was represented as one of their best lines. At the price we paid, and the quality represented, wouldn't you expect better service? The call I received was from Belinda who said she was a manager for the Corpus Christi Furniture Row. She said there was nothing they could do regarding the damage to the chair as It went out of warranty at one year. At this point, I became upset that they would not stand behind their product which had been represented as a solid, durable product (implied warranty). At the very least, I was hoping for a corrective repair of the area. We went around for about 10 minutes when she finally said that she could reach out to the manufacturer, Flexsteel, who she says provides a lifetime warranty. (Not sure if it covers material, or just the frame.) One note here; Why didn't she mentioned this at the beginning of our "discussion". I am, of course, very unhappy with position of Furniture Row. Hopefully, Flexsteel will provide a better outcome. In the meantime, I have a $2,200 recliner that looks like a piece of crap. Starting with the purchase of the Wicklow recliner ($2,200), Wicklow couch ($3,500) , floor rug 8'X10 ($1,200), Purple mattress ($2,000), and two chairs ($399 X 2= $798+ tax). In all over the past two years, we have purchased over $10,000 including taxes from Furniture Row. Now, five days later, I have not heard from them. At this point, I regret purchasing furniture from Furniture Row, and WILL NOT purchase from them again. read more

So I received them and the second pair was torn as well, I can't even sit on my new couches because my back hits the wooden frame. So, I don't post Yelp reviews often, and I believe this is my first negative review, but it is truly warranted. I purchased about $8000 worth of furniture from Furniture Row at the beginning of May. I was assured that most of the pieces would be in the warehouse within 1-2 weeks while the rest would be available later on. After 3 weeks I called and asked the status of the furniture and they told me they were waiting on one piece to get to the warehouse before they would send out the first delivery. Called a week later and was told the piece still wasn't in. No sweat, told them to just push that piece to the 2nd shipment and just deliver what they already had. They set me up for delivery today (June 12) from 1-3 p.m. I took the day off of work so I could be here to direct where I needed the furniture to go. I also have family visiting from California, and we had plans for the evening. Well, 3 pm came and went without so much as a call from the store. I called at 3:30 pm and was told they would call the delivery guys and call me back. They called back 20 minutes later and said the delivery guys phone was going straight to voicemail and that they continue to call until they had an updated time for me. Called back at 5:30 pm since I hadn't heard from them and a woman answered and told me the delivery guys were just there to drop off trash and headed back out. She explained they were behind schedule and that they had two houses to deliver before mine, but assured me they would be here today. Since my plans with my visiting family members were now cancelled, I figured I could at least salvage losing a vacation day by still receiving my furniture. After two more hours of no contact, I called again at about 7:40 pm. The same woman answered and apologized and told me they were just finishing up with the house before mine and they should be on their way soon. She also assured me that the folks at the store would remain there after closing (8 pm) to wait for the delivery guys to come back. Waited an hour and still nothing. Called the store around 9 pm, and not surprisingly, no one answered. Called several numbers and not one was picked up, and there was no voicemail. Wasted a whole day of vacation and had plans ruined because the store refused to admit they couldn't make all the stops on the route. They continued to stall and string me along throughout the day. Not one call from them, I initiated every call. No rescheduling of my delivery, nothing. They just packed up and went home. What's worse is now I have to take another vacation day tomorrow to go down to the store and figure out when I will receive the $8000 (including a delivery fee) worth of goods I purchased. Additionally, My family and guests have to sleep on air mattresses and sit in camping chairs since we ditched the old furniture to make room for the new items. I can only hope I don't have to cancel anymore evening or weekend plans sitting around waiting for my delivery while my family is in town. In my 25 years of being in the military and working for the Federal Govt., I have ordered furniture from many places both here in the U.S. as well as abroad. Never, EVER, have I experienced such gross neglect and disrespect by a company I've spent good money with. That alone warrants a negative review. I will update this post throughout the battle to receive what I paid for... Stay tuned. Update: I spoke with the manager the next day and he explained it was a communication breakdown between the store and the delivery folks. The first portion of the shipment arrived the next morning. Adding a second star since the manager I spoke with (Romeo) was quick to act when he realized what happened, and took care of the issue immediately. I have spent probably 20k at this store over the years. I ordered a set of 6 chairs about 5 months ago. I got 4 that day and waited for the other two. One came in and then last week I got a call another had come in. So I go on Saturday to pick it up and it is not put together. Seemed strange since they called earlier in the week. SO I said I will come back Monday. I came back today which is Wednesday. Still not together and still no one cared. My advice would be go to another other store because this one has no management and rarely delivers on the promises. read more

The store gave me a discount, I thought it was good but I learned that it was damaged goods, when asked why the salesman said they had to list it that way to get the discount, then I discovered that it was indeed slightly damaged. Strike one: salesman tried to hide it. Then salesman gives me a delivery date, the time and date passed, strike 2. Was lied to by telling me the delivery was canceled. The manager assured me I would get it delivered between the hours of 8 and 10 the next day. However an hour later I get an automated message that states it will be delivered between 1030 and 12. Manager lied as well. I would never do business with this shady company ever again and I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone. They are simply liars! read more

This is by far the worst furniture store in south Texas. Terry is a terrible employee and the entire company is a joke. We bought a couch in early March and is was supposed to take 8 weeks. Almost 4 months later it finally arrived. That's more than double the estimated time. Mind you we spent $2600 on this couch. There was zero communication on their part. I would 100 percent NOT recommend this furniture store to anyone!! The one in corpus at least. Our couch came infested with ants. I am still trying to get rid them and we've had the couch 2/3 weeks now. My whole family has gotten bit more times that I can count. I keep thinking I must have gotten them all so I sit down and nope, I get bit another 3 times. They also said that both pieces to our couch were in but when we went to pick it up, only half was in and we had to wait another week for the other half. So where do I start. I was told it was six weeks to get my furniture in and it took 10 weeks. We had to make multiple calls ourselves to figure out the status of our furniture. Everytime we called we were told we would be called for an update but we were never called. Only after my husband called and talked to the sales person that something happened. I get a call and the delivery time is suppose to be between 2:30-4:30pm. I call the store at 4pm, and get told that the delivery truck that my furniture is on is in Mathis and that is an hour and a half away but there are 2 other stops before me. What type of service is this? You tell me my delivery schedule is between a certain time, I expect it to be there between that time. Now I have wasted a day waiting for furniture that is not going to be here till close to 7pm. You told me it would be six weeks before it would arrive at the store and it took 10 weeks and we had to make update calls because sales people didn't want to make them. This isn't good business. The amount of money I have spend at this store. I will never be shopping here again and will never recommend it to anyone. You lost a customer and any customers from our way. I bought a sectional couch and took too long to be delivered, even though the cost was better than most places. Classic example of "get what you pay for." They delivered the pieces and one of them had a massive hold in the furniture and will take 2 weeks to get. Do not buy from here. I should have known better from the beginning and asked for a more experienced sales consultant. Diana Brooks entered in my phone number incorrectly. While you think no big this is how they locate your account. After she took over an hour to do my finacing, call her manger and find out the correct color of the furniture i was buying, she stated even though the promotion is no interest for 52 months the computer only goes to 48 so that's all she can give me. Then we go to Gabriel at Denver mattress and he while he did tell me it was out of stock at their location their would be no issue getting it to us in the 1 to 2 weeks we were qouted. Then be go to Bob on the lounge chair side and find out that not only did Diana Brooks not give us the current deal they were offering but now i am being charge more for delivery. I waited a week and a half and called and checked in to find out they have all of my stuff except for the mattress and maybe "sometime wedesday" it would maybe arrive. After Gabriel attempted to make me feel bad that he had to do research to find another store that had the mattress i ordered and that he was going to drive down after he found a baby sitter for his kid i was told everything would be delivered Wednesday. SOOO, of course, i call and check as soon as they open Wednesday to see when they are going to deliver my furniture and they have no idea what i am talking about and now all of my furniture is no longer available. I ask for a manager, Andy, and he makes it happen and even calls back to confirm details. I call around 530pm (in my 4-7pm delivery time) and ask about my delivery and they state that they cant find my account, then that they are delivering my stuff to another town. When i am being transferred to the original sales girl, Diana Brooks, i curse under my breath. Apparently Diana Brooks thinks she is my mother and can tell me how to speak when i am fustrated with her company's lack of communication. When she tells me she has 3 numbers for my account i told her she entered the wrong information in wrong she corrects me again. Then she tells me that my furniture is being delivered to my mom's address and that is what she put on the paperwork. Of course i have the paperwork out and it CLEARLY STATES my correct address. She then tells me that i am not "allowed" to call up to the store and speak to anyone in that matter. And puts me on hold. Then picks up the phone again and says it is being delivered to the correct address AND HANGS UP!!!!! 1. She is the WORST SALES person i have dealt with. Admit you made a mistake and apologize. 2. You are not my mother. I am allowed to be upset with your lack of communication and customer service. 3. The manager "left for the day" and now is unavailable. Even if that is true, there is another manager or employee that has more experience then Diana Brooks who has been their for, in her words, "3 weeks and i am still learning." All i want is my furniture. This lady said she would communicate with me what was going on with my order. Not once has she called me to inform me of what is going. She already got her money so who cares about the customer, right?? Update; 7 min before they missed their delivery time they call and tell me their deliveries are running behind because they did not put all of the stuff i ordered on the truck and if they did deliver it would be delivered at 11 pm AT NIGHT!!!! My husband found a mamufacturer's defect with the screws and I went back to Furniture Row and it was so easy to get a new one. They even assembled what was left of the set. My husband and I walked around for 30+ minutes ready to buy a living room set we had already picked out, a king size mattress set, and a kingsize bedroom set. We walked around atleast 5 men in the furniture section and 3 in the mattress section. During the entire 30+ minutes, not one person said a word to us. Not one word!! I was so upset after walking out and hearing a salesman ask a lady walking in what he could do to help her that I called them. I asked for a manager and explained what happened. I went in the store with exactly what I wanted in mind. I was greeted by a very nice man by the name of Kevin. He showed me some various pieces of furniture, and in the very end, we found a power recliner close to the color I wanted in the correct material, faux leather. I found Sofa Mart to have quality products and prices that were very reasonable. I decided on the recliner, and the man who helped me, was friendly but very professional, he wrote my ticket up, and I paid for the chair. He was very kind and patient with me. We purchased a Sofa in July. It started falling apart at the seams, and the Store will not do anything to make this right. The store Manager is rude, and belittling when we did not know the Language of the Sofa. The District manager has not attempted to contact us after multiple messages left. We were told that they would exchange the sofa, then several days later we were called to let us know that our exchange was in. We loaded our sectional sofa in the trailer and hauled it to the Store. When we got there they could not find the sofa. Once they located it we went to the loading dock, and when we opened the trailer they only wanted the long side of the sofa. It was explained that there were three pieces to a "sofa" and they could not help us if it was the entire thing. Well the wood is breaking, stitching is falling apart, and the cushions are coming apart at the seams on all three pieces. I left with the damaged sofa feeling that i should have taken classes on how to speak sofa before we attempted to communicate with them. Felipe was rude, and did not care about his customers. We will NEVER purchase anything from Furniture Row again, i would warn other not to either. The Quality is not worth the high prices they charge. read more
