Girl with the glasses was extremely rude when i came in. Sure i should have remembered my ID but i opened my wallet and it was missing. I walk in the door and shes already in a bad mood, then after she found out I didnt have my ID she gave me an attitude and dropped the f bomb. She handed me a piece of paper to sign and I asked If i needed to print my Middle initial. She responded with, " JESUS F*CKING CHRIST, DID I SAY MIDDLE INITIA!?" This made me want walk out right there and then. This is a great place if you want to play pool, whether you play casually or in a league. A lot of diamond tables available to rent. Open later than all the bars & most pool halls around the area. Relaxed environment & open space between tables. It's BYOB & I'm not complaining. I just started going here this year and the place has a very chill vibe & the staff are extremely friendly. I grew up shooting pool and would highly recommend it for those looking for a good local place to play. They have darts, ping pong, and tv's for folks looking for more than just pool. Talk about unhygienic, reeked of tobacco inside. Really gyp ya on the membership pricing, and they pretty much just scalp you for more cash if you're seconds behind on the 1-hour playing timestamp, while they hold your driver's license the entire time. That being said, between the childishly degrading attitude spat by the staff behind the counter and the aforementioned vampiric business practices, I wouldn't trust these people with my wallet, much less my license. There's no where better to go than the spot. The spot has been the official place to go in NE Philly and the suburbs for great tables a good atmosphere and the best pool hall experience you will ever have. Their prices are low, every table is kept up and damages repaired, there's a black light room and also ping pong tables to play. There is a sectioned off area for bar tables and it's BYOB because they're a "private" club. And the membership is $3 for a life long membership. ehh not my favorite place but not many pool halls around. yes lots of smoking so not suitable for some like me with asthma, also you can bring food or drinks which I understand but you can bring alcohol. I had a cup of coffee and was told I coukdnt bring it in but could bring in as many beer bottles as I wanted. fucking stupid imo. Either drinks or no drinks make sense. All the bad reviews here are ridiculous! I've been going here since I was in highschool now in my 30s. It's a pool hall people there's smoke. I've always had great interactions with the staff with no issue. Personally I smoke cigars and as much as I would like to smoke one inside it's not the policy. I'm not sure what kind of self entitled whiners these people were raised to be but they have rules and if you don't want to follow them you're more then welcome to play on a table at your own home. This is my absolute favorite place to come hang out and play pool with friends. It is a private club and byob and open very late. There are mini fridges around and although it is smoking and I'm a non smoker- it is equipped with some high quality smoke removal device because the smoke doesn't bother me in there like most smoking places. You can hang out even after the bars close and play pool on high quality tables at a very reasonable price. I like that once you've been there a couple times the guys tend to learn your name and really puts a personal touch on it. My husband and I tried this place for the first time last week. He is a smoker, I'm not. It smelled like cigarettes, but there was no visible smoke in the building, so I'm fine with that. The employee who signed us up as members was very friendly and explained the rules. The tables are in great shape. Restroom was very clean. The price per hour is great. We haven't played in a long time because we didn't feel like day-drinking and sharing a table in our local bar. We will definitely be back! read more

A private place to play some billiards with some friends at an awesome rate and to top it off its BYOB. The average rating would be higher if it wasn't for all of the 1-star reviews because of their smoking policy. Please ignore, I am a non-smoker and never have an issue. I rather enjoy a few brews and pool where all my friends can play without having to go outside after every beer. This place could have been a cool spot. It is only a mile or so from my house, but after going there tonight I'm pretty sure I have lung cancer. They allow smoking and dozens of teenagers hang out and smoke cigarettes probably against their parents knowledge and it ruined the experience for me. The lights above the tables show all the smoke in the air. This place has poor ventilation and it smells as soon as you open the door. It's 2016. People don't smoke like they used to. Awesome local pool hall. I've been a member here for 7-8 years and go several times a week. Pools tables are always well maintained and they've slowly been redoing the inside. The atmosphere is great and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. It's BYOB (21+) and have a small snack bar where you can order pizza or fries and cheesesteaks and vending machines I buy snacks and drinks from. They have many pool tables to play on. They also have a couple Ping-pong tables, some arcade card games and a black light room with pool tables. Very inexpensive and a fun time out. read more

Fusco's The Spot claims their filter, which is rated at 3,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute) cleans the air in the entire facility every 7.7 seconds. Their math is off slightly. A pool room 15x15x15 foot area the size of a family room in a home but enough for a bar table is 3,375 cubic feet. It would take their $22,000 filter more than a minute to filter all the air in that small space. That means customers are exposed to carcinogens, which is a cancer causing agent. Smart folks would avoid this place. read more

Went on date here a couple weeks ago. It's decent, laid out in a way that no one is overlapping each other. You have to have a membership to play and it's 4 bucks per person to play after membership...which kinda makes it a little....odd. you're paying for the membership AND THEN paying to play the same day. Smoking is allowed inside, and food is prepped and made inside the tiny cafeteria. Alcohol is also served. My only issue is the parking....finding fuscos wasn't the easiest challenge because it was dark and it's not well lit. Be very careful driving there. read more

Had a few hours to kill so decided to hit some balls and check this place out. Being from New York, I always enjoyed stopping in a Philadelphia area pool room when I am in the area. When I first walked into this place, the employee acknowledged me but found it strange when he asked for my driver's license to keep record and had to fill out a form corresponding to the information on my license. I've played pool in most parts of this country, Asia, Europe and nobody ever asked me for my license for information keeping. Pool halls have asked for it so you don't run out with the balls and bill but not to for archive purposes. Mr Pete Fusco I know is a well respected individual pool figure and was actually trying to convince me to fill out the form and my information is for membership to the establishment. Since I am not from the area and just wanted to check this place out, why would I want to give all my information to this place especially in this day and age. After back and forth talk, Mr Fusco realized I am not going to hand over my identification for record keeping and told me I am not welcome to hit balls otherwise. If this is how the pool room operates, then I have to respect it especially if I am not from the area. TBT, I did really want to play and hit balls in Mr Fusco's room but when I seen smoking allowed, I realized I just didn't want to play that much. read more

One of my favorite pool halls. The tables and house cues are in excellent condition. The hours are very friendly too (open until 4AM!!!!) Table types range from standard 9-foot, bar-size, and there is even a no-pocket billiards table. What is unique about this hall is their "fizz-room" with black-light pool!!!! The price is very reasonable too. If you are free in the daytime, it costs only $3/hour. I have never been to this pool hall and left with any complaints. However, if you are not fond of cigarette smoke, I don't recommend going during peak hours because smoking is allowed here. read more
