The food eggs, and home fries needed seasoning, but other than that the food was all very good. I am giving a 3 star rating because while it was a 4/4.5 star meal, a waitress spilled a kettle of liquid on my back as she walked by. Thankfully the liquid wasn't hot. I know it was accident and the staff was very apologetic, but it definitely put a damper on my visit.

We went with the tiramisu (most popular) and strawberry chocolate sauce. The size of the pancakes were pretty large and two come in each order, so it is definitely shareable. My favorite was actually the strawberry chocolate sauce. The flavor stood out to me. The tiramisu was good, but I did not care for it as much. The fluffiness of the souffled pancakes was great and they melt in your mouth. I wish I had one of these in our town. A bit expensive, but a definite treat!

They're all so good but I think vanilla might be my favourite! If you haven't visited before, I highly recommend you do! The Pancake House offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I was surprised at the size of the menu (6 or 8 pages), but it's basically a greasy spoon. On the upside, we were able to make a reservation for our party of 8, which was great. We ate inside. I don't actually recall outdoor seating, but maybe that's because it wasn't suitable for a group of our size? I honestly don't remember. When we got there, our table was ready and we were seated virtually right away. The restaurant has COVID19 protocols in place: every other booth is blocked off to grant the 2 meter distance between patrons. The waitresses and kitchen staff were all wearing face masks. We were able to order our food about 10 or 15 minutes after arriving and being seated. The food provided seemed to me to be a generous enough proportion. However, on the downside: a few of us had preferences for bread, ie: unbuttered, or rye bread, which was mixed up, forgotten, or completely missing. The waitress actually argued with me that the bread provided to me was rye bread when plainly it was not. And for this privilege, they charge extra for switching up the bread! We were done our meal within an hour, which was good for hubby and me as we had a long drive home on that hot and sunny Sunday. Overall, this was not my favourite breakfast place, but it sufficed. At least it was a sit-down restaurant with service.

The sunny side up eggs, steak, and homestyle fries were good - not overcooked or too salty. However, the scrambled eggs seemed overdone, and the hash was much saltier than I expected. Also, the coffee tasted watered down and was too weak for our caffeine needs. We expected the coffee to be the standard drip brew, but it really didn't pass muster.

My bacon was perfectly cooked, I don't like chewy bacon, they made the perfect crispy not burnt bacon I've ever had. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the excess whites were removed for the presentation, and my eggs were nested into my bacon, sitting in a bed of salad. My goodness was I ever so impressed. I would expect this from a Michelin star restaurant, and with slower service, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the speed of the food, service, and again quality of everything. My friend had the chicken and waffles. This was so close to perfect, I didn't like the seasoning on the chicken which was too flavourful for me, but the crunch, moisture in the chicken, the soft but dense waffle, and the maple butter combination... there is nothing better than this! I asked for my strawberry butter to be subbed they did it, and there was not extra charges on our bills for silly items like this. This place is solid! Exceptional quality of food, service, and over all experience. I didn't think I could find a place to truly enjoy going out to eat, but this one just blew my mind. The food took forever to arrive (turns out one of their staff was out getting eggs and milk from the grocery store!). The cheesecake was average and I would not order again. My main complaint is that they were severely understaffed and that the wait was unacceptable even though the restaurant was basically empty.
