Came here for my birthday celebration. Due to Covid, we were not able to get the Chef's Table…read more The restaurant was smaller than I had envisioned it and the decor was simplistic. It took a while before we got the menu and for the staff to explain it to us. As a matter of fact, the first waiter did such a poor job that I wasn't sold on the tasting menu as I had no idea what I was getting and didn't sound interesting. He basically didn't say anything that I couldn't read off the menu. Then the 2nd waitress did a better job at describing the menu to our group. According to my friend, their menu now is much smaller than pre-Covid. I was the only one who ordered the Tasting menu (4 course meal) for $85 and everyone else ordered a la carte. It also took a long time for the Sommelier to come as we wanted some recommendations for a wine which will pair well with everyone's food. Wine list is of course extremely extensive as the restaurant is know for their wines. You have a vast selection of price range so everyone can find something within their budget. I tasted the wine and the sommelier served everyone except me...I had to remind him that I wasn't served...points off there! Food actually arrived before we got our first bottle of wine which I was a bit annoyed by. Food was actually quite tasty. I did enjoyed everything on the Tasting Menu. Tartare de cerf: thé picked onions added a nice touch to the dish. Cavatellis: Al dante with a light creamy sauce. Fantastic...wished I had more! Magret de canard: was served in 2 big pieces rather than thinly sliced but was tasty. Strawberry dessert: nothing special to that one. I few pieces of strawberries and some cream/meringue. One nice touch from the restaurant: since it was my birthday, they brought over a magnum empty bottle of wine and put some candles inside and gave me a box of 4 macarons. We also asked to visit their wine cellar which was spectacular...any wine lover would be happy to see that collection. Overall good food but service was a bit slow and I think quality of service was not on par...I am sure they are having difficulty hiring staff just like any other restaurant during Covid so I wouldn't take off too much point there. Would recommend and go back.

The place is beautiful, the food was tasty and the service was beyond anything I have ever experience. They have an extensive vine collection and it is presented to you on an IPad so you can see pictures and descriptions. They also have very beautiful and tasty cocktails and they are served to you with a little treat. My husband just came to Canada less than 6 months ago and only speaks English and they went above and beyond to make sure he understood every single thing. They presented our menu and dishes in both languages so he didn't feel excluded. The place is beautiful, cozy and romantic. This is a must try for sure fine dining at it's best.

Being in French speaking Quebec as a pescatarian or vegan without speaking the local language is not a challenge here because one or more staff members speak English and translation apps remove the barriers, however i found use of Yelp and translation apps is not something used commonly here I learned. The menu is sure to please everyone with at least something for any taste or diet/lifestyle I had an egg white veggie omelet (no dairy, meat or added oil or fat), smoked salmon with capers, red onions, a fresh fruit bowl with strawberries, banana, honeydew and cantaloupe, blueberries, grapes and watermelon, side of applesauce. My friend had egg Benedict with avocado multigrain toast with generous mixed veggies on top, served with a portion of fresh fruit and very crispy, not greasy cubed home fries. I highly recommend this establishment.

The selection on the menu was quite extensive and the 2 items I wanted (tataki and salmon tartare) were both unavailable. Disappointed I chose a cheese platter as entree and the chicken as main meal. Partner took smoked salmon entree and beef tartare as a main. Let me start with the portions... holy cow, they were huge! Just my cheese platter was enough for a meal. There was a huge bowl of nuts included with this as well which were very good. The smoked salmon came on toasted bread with cream cheese and curried onions and cool cucumbers. Delicious. The main plates arrived and I thought I what a waste, I'm never going to finish this, I was already full from my appetizer. Let me tell you I didn't leave 1 thing on that plate! The chicken has cooked with procuitto on top and it was so juicy I couldn't believe it. Roasted potatoes and some romaine lettuce with Cesar dressing on top. I was blown away. The beef tartare portion was the largest I've ever seen and was mixed with mushrooms and a nice sauce. We were lucky that Wednesdays have $1 oysters so that was dessert for me. The service was exceptional. I can't remember being served by such a friendly waitress. Even if she had a mask on you can tell she was smiling. Overall don't hesitate to book a meal package to me it was really worth it.

We ordered a tomato sauce huge meatballs, seafood linguini & all dressed pizza. They are okay, nothing really surprising, I mean I didn't order any specialties to begin with, right? I find the meat balls are a bit too salty, the tomato sauce doesn't balance it out. Seafood linguini was also a bit salty, it's literally the same sauce with a pinch of sour taste. Pizza, its a super thin pizza, I would prefer to have a little bit more cheese but that's my taste I originally thought they use wooded oven but sadly it is not, so it's really missing the Smokey flavour. Generally speaking, the experience is nice, the waitress took care of us and I see they constantly wiping the area to ensure sanity and cleanness. The price is a bit high for the type of food and the quality. But hey, let's support locals!

The pizza was very tasty. Pepperoni/Mushrooms. Well done & cooked correctly. The serving staff was a little off. Particularly the follow up. He came over with the cheese & pepper about 1/2 way through the meal. Restaurant was clean & modern & the bathrooms were particularly clear & well looked after. I'll never get here again but I'd go here if I were.
