I am 45 miles away from the vendor. He told me his standard charge is $280 within his county, $330 one county out and $380 for 2 counties away. I do not recommend this vendor to anyone. $400 just for them to drive to your place.

After he left I noticed the gas fireplace was not operating by the remote switch as it had been previously. I had asked for two receipts, one for the woodburning fireplace insert and another for the gas fireplace, which was promised to come by email. After a few days I tried to call Simple Sweeps to get the receipts as promised, but there was no response to calls or texts. A few days later, a heat exchange pipe fell out of the chimney of the fireplace insert while putting a log on the fire. I hope that this unfavorable review gets their attention and they contact me to correct the problems and provide me with the receipts I am entitled to.
