Evelyn and Kwasi we just bought our new home at Mcconachie crossing moving into September 1st 2020. At first my husband said the house is new so we don't need to do inspection. I said no we need to do inspection before moving in. I went on line one week before moving in. To God be the glory l found FXC inspection Company with the guy named Janek. I called him and he charged me small amounts of fee. He came with a smiling face, very respectful and calm gentle man. He started his job from the roof all the way to the basement. He took almost 3hours to inspect the house which l was so impress of his job. He done walk me through where the Builders needed to fixed, he took pictures and videos of them as soon as possible and e-mail it to me the same night. And he told us that he will come again to re-inspect it for free with no cost after the Builders fix the problems. At the end, this was my husband face he was so happy that we found FXC inspector Janek. ****Because the videos and the pictures Janek took shows a big problem underneath the roofing and there was another bigger one underneath the basement and this two major problems could cost us more than $25,000.00 Canadian dollars after we lived in the house for 5year . I would highly recommend Jessie Stephenson. Last time I purchased a house the inspection report was 48 pages but Jessie's report was 165 pages long...very detailed and thorough. She inspected the attic (insulation), and performed thermal imaging inspection of HVAC distribution system. She was an electrician prior to being a home inspector so was knowledgeable in this area as well. The report outlined deferred maintenance that should be taken care of and being made aware, gave me the assurance I needed in purchasing this house. In addition she came at a moment's notice. I had scheduled another house inspector but was delayed 2 hours because of road conditions (ice & road construction), and he would not come that afternoon. This meant that I would have had to stay an extra day to get the inspection report done. Jessie came after working a full day, and driving all the way from Sylvan Lake to Red Deer. I've dealt with other inspections recently & in the past... Tanner was there for us with a very small window of time. He made time to fit us in after everyone else was unavailable & I was under extreme deadlines which was so stressful. He was so detailed & left no corner of the property In & out ,uninspected. He was in no rush to leave, we sat down together & walked me through every inspection issue of the house in detail, which took a lot of pressure & worry away. I also was able to call him days after the inspection with other questions I had & answered me immediately. This is a quality that is hard to find in people Now a days!!! Janek did my home inspection in the process of buying my home. He came recommended and I know why. He was professional, very detailed focused and quite thorough. He put together a very detailed report with photos and recommendations for maintenance and tan me through how the various elements around the house worked. He even came back a second time on his own time to complete the inspection (the electrical lines were shut off by the builder so he couldn't test the electrical) and returned to do that once the builder was able to restore power to the house.
